5. Setup & Installation
The addlon ceiling fan is designed for easy installation. Follow these steps carefully. It is recommended to have a qualified electrician perform the installation if you are unfamiliar with electrical wiring.
- Prepare for Installation: Disconnect power at the circuit breaker. Ensure all necessary components are present as per the package contents list.
- Mount the Ceiling Tray: Remove any existing bracket. Use the provided 4 screws to securely attach the addlon ceiling mounted tray to the ceiling junction box.
- Assemble Motor and Canopy: Remove the 3 screws from the motor. Align the holes on the canopy with the top of the motor, then secure it using the 3 screws removed earlier.
- Attach Fan Blades: Each blade has two usable sides (Nickel and Oak Grain). Choose your desired side. Use 3 screws to secure each fan blade tightly to the motor bracket. Repeat for all 5 blades.
- Install LED Light Kit: Firmly connect the connectors of the LED light board. Secure the LED board to the motor using the 3 screws removed earlier. Twist the light cover to tighten it securely.
- Hang Fan Body: Install the hook onto the ceiling mounted tray and hang the fan body on it for support during wiring.
- Wire Connections: Connect the fan wires to the house wiring: Black wire to Live, White wire to Neutral, Green wire to Ground. Ensure all wire pairs are inserted tightly into the wire nuts.
- Secure Fan to Ceiling: Align the screw on the fan bracket with the L-shape slot hook in the canopy. Install the 2 pre-removed screws and tighten all 4 screws on the 4 sides of the canopy to secure the fan to the ceiling tray.

6. Operating Instructions
Operate your addlon ceiling fan using the included remote control. Ensure the remote has working batteries.
- Power On/Off: Press the power button on the remote to turn the fan and light on or off.
- Adjust Fan Speed: Select from 6 wind speeds (1-6) on the remote control. Levels 1-2 provide low comfortable wind, 3-4 offer medium natural wind, and 5-6 deliver high cooling wind.
- Reverse Fan Direction: Use the F/R button on the remote to switch between forward (summer) and reverse (winter) modes. The fan will slowly stop before reversing direction.
- Customize Light: Adjust light brightness from 10% to 100% using the dimming buttons. Change color temperature between 3000K (warm white), 4000K (nature white), and 6000K (cold white) using the dedicated buttons.
