Compatibility:

This controller is compatible with Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, Switch OLED, and Windows PC. No additional drivers are required for use with Nintendo Switch consoles. For PC connection, a USB cable connection is supported.

3. Button Layout

Familiarize yourself with the controller's buttons and their functions:

  • HOME Button: Power on/off, return to home screen.
  • Turbo Button (T): Activates/deactivates turbo function.

4. Setup and Pairing

Initial Pairing with Nintendo Switch:

  1. Power on your Nintendo Switch console.
  2. From the HOME Menu, select "Controllers" > "Change Grip/Order".
  3. On the Lyyes Pro Controller, press and hold the "Y" + "HOME" buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. The LED indicators will begin to flash rapidly.
  4. Once the controller is successfully paired, the corresponding player LED indicator(s) will light up solid.

Reconnecting to Nintendo Switch:

After the initial pairing, you can reconnect the controller by simply pressing the "HOME" button for 5 seconds. The controller will automatically search for and connect to the last paired console.

Connecting to Windows PC:

Connect the controller to your Windows PC using a USB-C cable. The controller will be recognized as a wired gamepad. Wireless connection to PC may require a Bluetooth adapter and specific software, which is not officially supported by this manual.

Important Note on Firmware:

If you encounter connection or usage issues, it is recommended to update the controller firmware. Firmware updates are typically performed on a Windows PC (not Mac). Please refer to the manufacturer's website or support resources for the latest firmware and update instructions.

5. Operating Instructions

Turbo Function:

The controller supports both automatic and manual turbo functions with three adjustable speeds.

  1. Setting Turbo: Press and hold the "T" (Turbo) button, then press the action button (A/B/X/Y/L/R/ZL/ZR) you wish to assign turbo to. The button will now repeatedly input as long as it's held down.
  2. Adjusting Turbo Speed: While holding the "T" button, move the Right Analog Stick (R2) Up to increase turbo speed or Down to decrease turbo speed. There are three speeds: 5 shots/s, 12 shots/s, and 20 shots/s.
  3. Clearing Turbo: To clear the turbo setting for a specific button, press and hold the "T" button, then press the assigned action button again. To clear all turbo settings, press and hold the "T" button for 5 seconds.

Vibration Adjustment:

The controller features dual vibration motors. Vibration intensity can typically be adjusted through the console's system settings or within specific game options.

6. Charging and Battery

The Lyyes Pro Controller is equipped with a built-in 500mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

Charging the Controller:

  1. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the Type-C port on the controller.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a USB power source (e.g., Nintendo Switch dock, PC, USB wall adapter).
  3. During charging, the LED indicators on the controller will typically flash to indicate charging status. Once fully charged, the LEDs may turn off or glow solid.

Battery Life:

  • Charging Time: Approximately 2-3 hours for a full charge.
  • Playing Time: Approximately 8-10 hours of continuous gameplay on a full charge.

The controller can be used normally even while it is charging.

7. Troubleshooting

Controller Not Connecting/Pairing:

  • Ensure the controller is sufficiently charged.
  • Verify that the Nintendo Switch console is powered on and in the "Change Grip/Order" screen.
  • Make sure you are pressing the correct pairing combination (Y + HOME) for 5 seconds.
  • Try restarting both the controller and the Nintendo Switch console.
  • Check for any obstructions or interference between the controller and the console.
  • Consider updating the controller firmware if issues persist (refer to Section 4).

Input Lag or Disconnections:

  • Ensure the controller is within a reasonable range of the console (typically up to 10 meters).
  • Minimize wireless interference from other devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other Bluetooth devices).
  • Ensure the controller is fully charged.

Buttons Not Responding:

  • Check if the controller is properly connected to the console.
  • Restart the controller and the console.
  • If a specific button is not working, it may indicate a hardware issue.

Vibration Not Working:

  • Ensure vibration is enabled in the game's settings or the console's system settings.
  • Some games may not support vibration.
