1. Introduction and Overview

The DECKED Truck Bed Storage System is an American-made, in-vehicle storage solution designed to maximize the utility of your truck bed. It provides weatherproof, secure, and ergonomic storage for tools, gear, and valuables, while maintaining the full cargo-carrying capabilities of your truck bed. The system features full bed-length drawers for organized storage below, and a heavy-duty flat deck above capable of supporting up to 2,000 lbs of cargo. 2. Product Features

• Compatibility: Specifically designed for Toyota Tundra models from 2007-2021 with a 5'7" truck bed length.
• Massive Storage & Payload: Offers significant storage volume in two full bed-length drawers. The heavy-duty flat deck supports up to 2,000 lbs of cargo. Each drawer has a 200 lb payload capacity.
• Weatherproof & Secure: Features updated drawer seals to protect contents from car washes, dust, and particulates. While not airtight, closeout panels minimize airborne particles. Drawers are secured via the locking tailgate or an optional keyed lock accessory (not included).

4. Setup and Installation

Initial installation of the DECKED system typically takes 2 to 3 hours using common hand tools. The system is compatible with spray-in liners and most bed rugs, but it is NOT compatible with drop-in plastic bed liners.

Tools Required:

• 1/2 inch open-ended wrench
• Phillips screwdriver
• 7/32 inch hex wrench
• 3/8 inch socket
• 17/16 inch socket

Installation Steps:

1. Prepare the Truck Bed: Ensure your truck bed is clean and clear of any debris.
2. Assemble the System: Follow the detailed instructions provided in the packaging for assembling the DECKED system components.
3. Position the System: Carefully place the assembled system into your truck bed.
4. Secure the System: Use the provided J-hooks to secure the system to your truck bed. Ensure the system is centered and aligned with the ribs or troughs on your bed floor for proper fitment. Snug the J-hooks down, but do not overtighten.
5. Install Drawers: Slide the drawers into their respective compartments.
6. Attach Accessories: Place the included accessories (D-co cases, Drawerganizer, dividers, stash bins) into the drawers as desired.

5. Operating Instructions

The DECKED system is designed for ease of use and accessibility.

Drawer Operation:

• To open a drawer, simply pull the handle outwards. The drawers are equipped with a smooth slide mechanism for easy access.
• To close a drawer, push it firmly back into the system until it latches securely.

Deck Usage:

• The flat deck surface can be used to haul large items, supporting up to 2,000 lbs.
• Utilize the integrated D-Ring tie-downs to secure cargo on top of the deck.

6. Maintenance

The DECKED system is built for durability and low maintenance. Regular cleaning and inspection will ensure its longevity.

• Cleaning: Clean the system with mild soap and water as needed. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the HDPE material.
• Drawer Seals: Periodically inspect the drawer seals for any signs of wear or damage. While designed to protect against elements, maintaining the seals ensures optimal performance.
• Moving Parts: The slide mechanism and wheels are designed for smooth operation. Keep them free of excessive dirt or debris.

7. Troubleshooting

Here are some common issues and their solutions:

• Drawers not sliding smoothly: Check for any obstructions in the drawer tracks or debris on the wheels. Clean the tracks and wheels if necessary.
• Water or dust ingress: Ensure the tailgate is properly closed and locked. Inspect the drawer seals for any damage or misalignment. While drawers are not airtight, closeout panels should minimize particulates.
• System appears misaligned after re-installation: Truck beds can frequently be out of square. When centering your system, use the ribs or troughs on your truck bed floor as the true reference for alignment, rather than the truck bed sides.
