4. Setup

4.1 Blade and Accessory Installation/Removal

The CV350V2 features an easy blade exchange system, with lever operation approximately 70% lighter than previous models, allowing for quick and secure attachment of accessories.

  1. Ensure the tool is unplugged from the power source.
  2. Lift the lever on the tool head to release the accessory.
  3. Align the desired accessory (blade or sanding pad) with the tool shaft and insert it. The tool's temporary holding mechanism ensures secure placement.
  4. Push the lever back down firmly to lock the accessory in place. Ensure the accessory is securely fastened before operation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

To turn the tool ON, slide the power switch to the 'ON' position. To turn it OFF, slide the switch to the 'OFF' position.

5.2 Mode Selection and Speed Adjustment

The CV350V2 offers both Auto Mode and Normal Mode (1-5 stages) for optimal performance across different tasks. The oscillation speed can be adjusted from 6,000 to 20,000 min-1.

  • Normal Mode: Use the dial to select a speed setting from 1 to 5, corresponding to 6,000 to 20,000 oscillations per minute.
  • Auto Mode: In Auto Mode, the tool automatically adjusts the oscillation speed based on the load, reducing noise and vibration during no-load operation and increasing speed when cutting. This allows for easier alignment of the blade at the start of a cut.

5.3 Applications and Usage Examples

With 37 types of interchangeable accessories (sold separately), the multi-tool can handle a wide variety of tasks including flush cutting, pocket cutting, scraping, and sanding.

Note: Depending on the type of workpiece and accessory, cutting thick copper pipes (metal pipes) or baked-in nails may not be possible.
