1. Important Safety Information
Please read and understand the following safety guidelines before operating your Geevon Wireless Weather Station.
- The main unit and remote sensors must be placed within 200 feet (60 meters) of each other for optimal wireless communication.
- Ensure both the main unit and remote sensors are positioned at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from electronic devices that may cause interference, such as televisions, microwaves, computers, or radios.
- Do not use heavy-duty or rechargeable batteries in the remote sensors. For low-temperature conditions, lithium batteries are recommended for outdoor sensors as alkaline batteries may not function correctly.
- Avoid mixing old and new batteries. Replace all batteries simultaneously when needed.
- Prevent water or any other liquid from entering the sensor units.

4. Setup
4.1 Powering the Main Unit
- AC Power: For continuous backlight and optimal performance, connect the provided AC power adapter to the main unit and plug it into a wall outlet.
- Battery Power (Backup): Insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. The backlight will only illuminate for 10 seconds after a button press to conserve power.
4.2 Installing Batteries in Remote Sensors
Each remote sensor requires 2 AAA batteries (not included).
- Open the battery compartment on the back of each remote sensor.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment securely.
- On each sensor, select a channel (1, 2, or 3) using the switch inside the battery compartment. Ensure each sensor uses a unique channel.
4.3 Sensor Placement Guidelines
Proper placement ensures accurate readings and reliable wireless transmission.
- Outdoor Sensors: Place sensors in a well-ventilated, shaded area to avoid direct sunlight and precipitation, which can affect temperature and humidity readings.
- Mounting: Sensors can be mounted on a wall or tree using the integrated hang hole, or placed on a flat surface.
- Range: Maintain a distance of no more than 200 feet (60 meters) between the main unit and remote sensors. Obstacles like thick walls or metal structures can reduce transmission range.

4.4 Initial Synchronization
After powering both the main unit and sensors, the main unit will automatically search for and connect to the remote sensors. This process may take a few minutes. Ensure all sensors are within range.
Note: Temperature and humidity calibration requires at least 2 hours for the data to stabilize and become accurate. Please be patient during this initial period.
5. Operation
5.1 Display Overview
The color LCD display is divided into several sections:
- Top Section: Time, Date, Day of the Week, Alarm Indicator.
- Middle Section: Indoor Temperature and Humidity, Weather Forecast icons.
- Bottom Section: Outdoor Temperature and Humidity for Sensors 1, 2, and 3.
5.2 Setting Time and Date
Refer to the buttons on the back or side of the main unit (typically labeled 'MODE', 'SET', '+', '-').
- Press the 'MODE' button repeatedly until the time display flashes.
- Use the '+' or '-' buttons to adjust the hour, then press 'SET' to confirm and move to minutes.
- Repeat for minutes, year, month, and day.
- Press 'MODE' to exit setting mode.
5.3 Alarm Clock Function

- Setting Alarm: Press 'MODE' until the alarm time flashes. Use '+' or '-' to adjust, and 'SET' to confirm.
- Activating/Deactivating Alarm: Press the 'ALARM' button (or similar) to toggle the alarm on/off. An alarm icon will appear when active.
- Snooze Function: When the alarm sounds, press the 'SNOOZE' button (or any button other than 'ALARM OFF') to activate a 5-minute snooze.
5.4 Temperature and Humidity Units
To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), locate the '°C/°F' button (often on the back or side of the main unit) and press it.
5.5 Backlight Adjustment

Image: The weather station display demonstrating three different levels of backlight brightness, from brightest to off, illustrating the adjustable feature.
When the main unit is powered by the AC adapter, press the 'LIGHT' or 'SNOOZE/LIGHT' button to cycle through three brightness levels (High, Medium, Low, Off).
5.6 Weather Forecast
The weather station predicts future weather based on atmospheric pressure changes. The forecast is represented by six icons:
- Sunny
- Partly Sunny
- Cloudy
- Rainy
- Stormy
- Snowy

Image: The weather station display showing different weather forecast icons, such as sunny, partly sunny, cloudy, rainy, stormy, and snowy.
The forecast is an estimation and may not always perfectly match local weather conditions.
5.7 Max/Min Records
Press the 'MAX/MIN' button to view the maximum recorded temperature and humidity. Press again to view the minimum records. To clear the records, press and hold the 'MAX/MIN' button.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Replacement
When the low battery indicator appears on the display for either the main unit or a remote sensor, replace all batteries in that unit with new ones. Refer to section 4.1 and 4.2 for battery installation.
6.2 Cleaning
Wipe the main unit and sensors with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the display or casing.
6.3 Storage
If storing the device for an extended period, remove all batteries from both the main unit and remote sensors to prevent leakage.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No outdoor sensor reading | Batteries are dead or incorrectly installed; sensor out of range; interference. | Replace sensor batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Move sensor closer to the main unit. Relocate away from electronic devices. Re-synchronize by removing and reinserting batteries in both units. |
| Inaccurate temperature/humidity | Sensor exposed to direct sunlight/rain; insufficient calibration time. | Relocate sensor to a shaded, well-ventilated area. Allow at least 2 hours for initial calibration. |
| Display is dim or off (on battery power) | Normal power-saving mode for battery operation. | Plug in the AC adapter for continuous backlight. Press any button to temporarily illuminate the display for 10 seconds. |
| Weather forecast does not change | Initial calibration period; significant atmospheric pressure changes have not occurred. | Allow sufficient time for the unit to gather pressure data (up to 24 hours). The forecast is based on trends, not real-time conditions. |
