4. Setup

4.1. Install Handle Spokes

Locate the three handle spokes in the package. Insert each spoke into the designated slots on the safe's handle knob and tighten securely. Refer to the video in Section 3 for a visual guide (0:11-0:19).

4.2. First Opening / Emergency Opening

For the first time opening the safe, or in case of forgotten password/dead battery, use the emergency key. Lift the cover on the keypad panel to reveal the emergency keyhole. Insert the emergency key and turn it while simultaneously turning the handle to open the safe. Refer to the video in Section 3 for a visual guide (0:20-0:27).

4.3. Battery Installation

Once the safe is open, locate the battery compartment inside the door. Insert 4 'AA' batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery compartment cover. Refer to the video in Section 3 for a visual guide (0:28-0:33).

4.4. Mounting the Safe

The safe features 5 pre-drilled holes on the back and bottom for secure mounting. Use the included expansion screws to fix the safe to a wall, floor, or both. This prevents unauthorized removal and tipping. Choose a discreet and secure location for mounting.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Unlocking Methods

Your Omethey safe offers four convenient unlocking methods:

1. Fingerprint + Turn Handle: For fast access.
2. Password + Turn Handle: For fast access.
3. Emergency Key + Turn Handle: Used for first-time opening, forgotten password, or dead battery.
4. Emergency Battery Box + Password/Fingerprint + Turn Handle: Used when the internal batteries are dead. Connect the emergency battery box to the port on the keypad, then use your fingerprint or password.

5.2. Setting Fingerprint

To set a fingerprint, press the setting button located inside the safe door for one second. Then, place your finger on the fingerprint scanner and lift it four times until the system confirms successful registration. The safe can store up to 20 fingerprints.

5.3. Setting User Code

To set a user code, press #00, then press the setting button inside the safe door for one second. Enter your desired new code twice, confirming each entry with the '#' key. Your new user code is now set.

5.4. Silent Mode

The safe features a silent mode to avoid disturbing others. To activate silent mode, press '*' then '1' on the keypad. To deactivate, press '*' then '1' again.

5.5. Dual Alarm System

The safe is equipped with a dual alarm system for enhanced security:

• Vibration Alarm: Triggered by shaking or moving the safe. To activate, press '*' then '9'.
• Incorrect Input Alarm: Activated after 5 consecutive wrong fingerprint attempts or 3 wrong password attempts.

When an alarm is activated, the buzzer will sound for 1 minute. To stop the alarm, enter the correct code or fingerprint.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the safe exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries promptly when the low battery alert is indicated on the keypad. Use 4 new 'AA' alkaline batteries.
• Key Storage: Store emergency keys in a secure location away from the safe.
• Interior Care: The soft velvet interior protects your guns from scratches. Periodically inspect for any wear or damage.

7. Troubleshooting

• Safe not opening with fingerprint/password: Ensure batteries are not depleted. Try using the emergency battery box or emergency key. Re-register fingerprints if issues persist.
• Alarm sounds unexpectedly: Check if the vibration alarm is active. Ensure the safe is stable and not being disturbed. Enter the correct code to disarm.
• Keypad unresponsive: Replace batteries. If using the emergency battery box, ensure it is properly connected and has fresh batteries.
• Difficulty setting code/fingerprint: Follow the instructions precisely. Ensure the setting button is pressed for the correct duration.
