Setup
Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker to ensure optimal battery performance.
- Connect the small end of the included USB charging cable to the charging port on the speaker.
- Connect the large end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate (color may vary) during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged.
- Charging typically takes 2 to 3 hours.
Powering On/Off
To turn the speaker ON, press and hold the Power Button until you hear an audible prompt or see an indicator light.
To turn the speaker OFF, press and hold the Power Button again until you hear an audible prompt or the indicator light turns off.
Operating Instructions
Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is charged and powered ON. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "RadioShack Y665" (or similar name) from the list of found devices.
- Once paired, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation, and the LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid.
- The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if the device is within range and Bluetooth is enabled.
Auxiliary (AUX) Mode
- Connect one end of the 3.5mm auxiliary cable to the AUX input port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the auxiliary cable to the headphone jack of your audio source device.
- Press the Mode (M) Button on the speaker to switch to AUX mode.
- Play audio from your connected device. Volume can be controlled via both the speaker and the source device.
Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause Button to start or pause music.
- Volume Adjustment: Press the Volume Up (+) or Volume Down (-) buttons to adjust the speaker's volume.
Maintenance
Cleaning
- Disconnect the speaker from all power sources before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the speaker.
