The front panel includes a single twist knob with three clearly marked positions:
- IN: Directs audio to the interior speakers only.
- BOTH: Directs audio to both interior and exterior speakers simultaneously.
- OUT: Directs audio to the exterior speakers only.

Installation
Mounting the Switch
The RecPro RV Speaker Switch is designed for flush mounting. Ensure you have adequate space behind the mounting surface for wiring connections.
- Choose a suitable location in your RV, typically near your audio head unit.
- Refer to the dimensions below to create a rough opening for the switch.
- Insert the switch into the opening and secure it using appropriate fasteners (not included) through the mounting holes on the faceplate.

Wiring Instructions
The speaker switch connects to your audio head unit and both sets of speakers (interior and exterior). It uses screw terminals for secure connections. Important: Disconnect all power to your audio system before beginning installation to prevent electrical shock or damage to components.

Refer to the wiring diagram below for correct connections. Each wire is color-coded and labeled for clarity.

- Identify Speaker Wires: Your RV's audio system will have positive (+) and negative (-) wires for each speaker channel (Left and Right, Interior and Exterior).
- Connect Radio Output:
- Connect the Orange (RADIO L+) wire from the switch to your radio's Left Positive (+) output.
- Connect the Black (RADIO L-) wire from the switch to your radio's Left Negative (-) output.
- Connect the Blue (RADIO R+) wire from the switch to your radio's Right Positive (+) output.
- Connect the Gray (RADIO R-) wire from the switch to your radio's Right Negative (-) output.
- Connect Interior Speakers:
- Connect the Green (INSIDE L+) wire from the switch to your interior Left Positive (+) speaker wire.
- Connect the White (INSIDE L-) wire from the switch to your interior Left Negative (-) speaker wire.
- Connect the Yellow (INSIDE R+) wire from the switch to your interior Right Positive (+) speaker wire.
- Connect the Red (INSIDE R-) wire from the switch to your interior Right Negative (-) speaker wire.
- Connect Exterior Speakers:
- Connect the Light Blue (OUTSIDE L+) wire from the switch to your exterior Left Positive (+) speaker wire.
- Connect the Teal (OUTSIDE L-) wire from the switch to your exterior Left Negative (-) speaker wire.
- Connect the Pink (OUTSIDE R+) wire from the switch to your exterior Right Positive (+) speaker wire.
- Connect the Brown (OUTSIDE R-) wire from the switch to your exterior Right Negative (-) speaker wire.
- Secure Connections: Ensure all connections are tight and properly insulated to prevent short circuits.
- Restore Power: Once all connections are verified, restore power to your audio system.
Operating Instructions
Using the RecPro RV Speaker Switch is straightforward. Simply turn the knob to select your desired audio output.
- IN Position: Rotate the knob to "IN" to play audio exclusively through your RV's interior speakers.
- BOTH Position: Rotate the knob to "BOTH" to play audio through both your interior and exterior speakers simultaneously.
- OUT Position: Rotate the knob to "OUT" to play audio exclusively through your RV's exterior speakers.
Adjust the volume using your RV's main audio head unit. The speaker switch does not control volume.
Maintenance
The RecPro RV Speaker Switch requires minimal maintenance.
- Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Periodically check wiring connections to ensure they remain secure, especially after long periods of travel or vibration.
