1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient use of your VGEBY Smart Drone Battery Charger. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device to ensure proper function and longevity.

The VGEBY Smart Drone Battery Charger is a portable, two-way charging hub designed for DJI Mini 2 and Mini SE drone batteries. It features intelligent charging capabilities and can also function as a portable power bank.

2. Safety Information

• Do not expose the charger to water or moisture.
• Avoid extreme temperatures. Operate the charger within the specified charging temperature range of 0-40 degrees Celsius.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the charger.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Use only compatible batteries (DJI Mini 2 and Mini SE). Do not use with DJI Mini (1st generation) batteries.
• Ensure proper ventilation during charging.
• Disconnect the power source when not in use.

3. Product Overview

The VGEBY Smart Drone Battery Charger is a compact and efficient device for managing your drone batteries.

Components:

• Battery Slots (x2): Designed to hold DJI Mini 2 or Mini SE batteries.
• Indicator Lights: Provide status updates on charging progress.
• USB-C Input Ports (x2): For connecting power sources to charge the drone batteries.
• USB-A Output Port (x1): For using the charger as a portable power bank.

4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the charger and included USB charging cables from the packaging.
2. Power Source: Connect one or two USB-C charging cables (included) to the input ports on the side of the charger. Connect the other end(s) to a compatible 5V3A or QC3.0 power adapter (not included).
3. Battery Insertion: Insert your DJI Mini 2 or Mini SE batteries into the designated slots on the charger. Ensure they are securely seated.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Charging Drone Batteries

1. Ensure the charger is connected to a power source as described in the Setup section.
2. Insert up to two compatible DJI Mini 2 or Mini SE batteries into the charging slots.
3. The charger will intelligently detect the batteries and begin charging. Indicator lights will show the charging status.
4. If two batteries are inserted, the charger prioritizes the battery with the higher charge level to achieve a quicker full charge for one battery.
5. Charging Time:
   • Using two 5V3A or QC3.0 Type-C inputs: Approximately 100 minutes for two batteries (50 minutes per battery).
   • Using one 5V3A or QC3.0 Type-C input: Approximately 160 minutes for two batteries (80 minutes per battery).
6. Once charging is complete, disconnect the batteries and the power source.

5.2 Using as a Portable Power Bank

1. Insert one or two charged DJI Mini 2 or Mini SE batteries into the charger slots.
2. Connect your external device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) to the USB-A output port on the charger using a compatible USB cable.
3. The charger will begin to supply power to your device. The USB output is 5V/2A (Maximum).

6. Maintenance

• Clean the charger with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
• Keep the charging ports and battery contacts free from dust and debris.
• Store the charger in a cool, dry place when not in use.
• Avoid dropping or subjecting the charger to strong impacts.

7. Troubleshooting

Issue: Charger does not respond when battery is inserted.

Solution: New batteries or batteries that have not been used for a long time may be in a dormant state. To activate, first place the dormant battery into the drone and recharge it using the drone's charging method. Once activated, the battery can then be charged using the VGEBY Smart Drone Battery Charger.

Issue: Slow charging speed.

Solution: Ensure you are using a power adapter that supports 5V3A or QC3.0 output. For fastest charging, connect two such power adapters to both USB-C input ports on the charger.

Issue: Charger not providing power to external devices.

Solution: Ensure that charged drone batteries are securely inserted into the charger slots. Verify that the external device's USB cable is properly connected to the USB-A output port.
