3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Camera

Before first use, fully charge the camera using the provided USB cable. Connect the micro USB end to the camera's charging port and the USB-A end to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The camera has a built-in 1800 mAh battery.

3.2 Inserting a Micro SD Card

For local video storage and recording without Wi-Fi, insert a micro SD card (not included) into the designated slot on the camera. Ensure the card is inserted correctly until it clicks into place.

3.3 Connecting to Wi-Fi and App Setup

To enable remote viewing and advanced features, connect the camera to your smartphone via Wi-Fi. Download the dedicated application (refer to the packaging or product page for app name) on your Android device. Follow the in-app instructions to pair the camera with your phone. The camera supports Wi-Fi hotspot functionality, allowing direct connection to your phone for monitoring within a 10m range.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Live Monitoring

Once connected to the app, you can view live video feed from the camera on your smartphone. This allows for real-time surveillance of your chosen area.

4.2 Recording Modes

The camera supports four distinct recording modes:

  1. Phone Recording Mode (with Wi-Fi): Click the record icon in the app to manually start recording. Video will be saved to your phone and the app.
  2. Warming Alarm Recording Mode (with Wi-Fi): The camera records automatically when it detects moving objects.
  3. Full-time Recording Mode (without Wi-Fi, requires Micro SD card): The camera records continuously 24/7.
  4. Timed Recording Mode (without Wi-Fi, requires Micro SD card): Set specific start and end times for the camera to record.

4.3 Motion Detection and Alarms

The camera features AI motion monitoring. When motion is detected within the monitoring range, the camera automatically begins recording and sends an alarm notification to your connected smartphone. This ensures you are promptly alerted to any unusual activity.

4.4 Video Playback

Recorded videos can be accessed and played back through the smartphone application. This feature allows you to review past events and manage your stored footage efficiently.

  • Keep the camera clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
  • Avoid exposing the camera to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
  • Ensure the micro SD card is formatted periodically to maintain optimal recording performance.
  • Regularly check for firmware updates through the companion app to ensure the camera has the latest features and security enhancements.

6. Troubleshooting

Camera Not Connecting to Wi-Fi

  • Ensure the camera is within 10 meters of your smartphone for hotspot connection.
  • Verify that your phone's Wi-Fi is enabled and connected to the camera's hotspot or your home network.
  • Restart both the camera and your smartphone.
  • Check if the camera's battery is sufficiently charged.

No Recording or Video Playback Issues

  • Ensure a micro SD card is properly inserted if recording without Wi-Fi.
  • Check if the micro SD card has sufficient free space.
  • Verify that the recording mode is correctly selected in the app.
  • Try formatting the micro SD card (this will erase all data).

Motion Detection Not Triggering

  • Ensure motion detection is enabled in the camera's app settings.
  • Adjust the sensitivity settings for motion detection.
  • Verify that the camera has a clear view of the area to be monitored.
