Setup

Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the rangefinder.
2. Twist or slide the battery cover to open it.
3. Insert the provided CR2 battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals are aligned correctly as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Securely close the battery cover.

The battery cover is designed for ease of use while maintaining a secure seal.

Initial Power On

Press the power button (usually located on the top of the device) to turn on the rangefinder. The display should illuminate, indicating it is ready for use.

Operating Instructions

Basic Distance Measurement

1. Look through the eyepiece.
2. Aim the reticle at your desired target.
3. Press the power/measurement button once to activate the laser and display the distance.
4. For continuous scanning, press and hold the power/measurement button while sweeping across targets.

PNLC Ambient Auto Display

The GX-10W features an ultra-high environment-adaptive LCD color adjustment. The display automatically adjusts its color based on ambient light conditions. In darker environments, the display will appear redder for improved visibility, while in brighter conditions, it will revert to a standard black display.

Ultra-Fast Flag Lock Technology

The device can lock onto flags in approximately 1 second using a unique dual-flag locking method (far to near or align flag). This feature ensures quick and accurate acquisition of the target, even in cluttered backgrounds. The advanced measurement system provides ultra-high-speed measurements in 0.06 seconds.

Slope Switch Function

Maintenance

Cleaning

Storage

When not in use, store the rangefinder in its carrying pouch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove the battery if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

Battery Replacement

Replace the CR2 battery when the display indicates low power or if the device exhibits inconsistent or inaccurate readings. Always use a fresh, high-quality CR2 battery for optimal performance.

Troubleshooting

• Device not powering on: Check if the battery is installed correctly and has sufficient charge. Replace the battery if necessary.
• Inaccurate readings: Ensure the target is within the measuring range (5-1200 yards). Environmental factors such as heavy fog, rain, or highly reflective surfaces can affect accuracy. A low battery can also lead to inaccurate readings; replace the battery if suspected.
• Display issues (dim or flickering): This could indicate a low battery. The auto-brightness feature adjusts to light conditions; ensure you are in appropriate lighting for the display type.
• Difficulty locking onto target: Ensure the target is clear and not obstructed. For flag lock, ensure the flag is within the field of view and distinct from the background.
