3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully unpack the contents of the box. Ensure all items are present:

3.2 Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the battery. Connect the provided 240W USB-C charging cable to the USB-C1 port on the battery and to a 100W (or higher) PD fast-charging GaN charger. A full charge typically takes approximately 2.5 hours.

Note: When charging via D-TAP, ensure the voltage does not exceed 16.8V and the maximum current does not exceed 8A.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off and Display

The battery does not have a dedicated power on/off button. To activate the smart digital display and check battery status, press the status button located on the side. The display will show battery level, remaining battery life in minutes, voltage, and individual port status.

When total power output exceeds 100W, the display will indicate a caution status (e.g., turn red). It is recommended to avoid exceeding 100W for optimal operation and safety.

4.2 Connecting Devices

The VB99 Pro offers multiple output ports for various devices:

The battery's parallel circuit design ensures that output power is not reduced when charging multiple devices simultaneously, provided the total output does not exceed 100W.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Wipe the battery exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Ensure the port covers are in place when not in use to prevent dust and debris accumulation.

5.2 Storage

Store the battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, it is recommended to charge the battery to approximately 50-70% capacity.

5.3 Battery Cycle Life

The VB99 Pro is designed with LG power battery cells, capable of over 300 charge and discharge cycles before its capacity drops to 80%.
