Important Safety Instructions

Please read and save these safety instructions before using your humidifier. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

• Always place the humidifier on a firm, flat, waterproof surface at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls and appliances.
• Do not immerse the humidifier base in water or other liquids.
• Unplug the humidifier before filling, cleaning, or moving it.
• Do not operate the humidifier with a damaged cord or plug.
• Keep the humidifier out of reach of children and pets.
• Use only clean, cool tap water. Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank unless specified for the aromatherapy tray.
• Do not block the mist outlet or air intake vents.
• Regularly clean the humidifier to prevent mineral buildup and bacterial growth.

The Grelife 4L Top Fill Cool Mist Humidifier is designed to provide optimal humidity levels in your environment. It features a large water tank, adjustable mist output, a humidistat, timer function, and a night light.

Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present.
2. Placement: Place the humidifier on a flat, stable, and waterproof surface. Ensure it is at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls, furniture, and electronic devices.
3. Fill Water Tank:
   • Remove the top cover of the humidifier.
   • Pour clean, cool tap water directly into the water tank from the top opening. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
   • Replace the top cover securely.

4. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The humidifier will enter standby mode.

Operating Instructions

The humidifier can be operated using the control panel on the base unit or the included remote control.

Control Panel & Remote Functions:

• Power Button: Press to turn the humidifier on or off.
• Mist Level Button: Press to cycle through 4 mist output levels (Low, Medium, High, Max).
• Humidity Setting Button: Press to set your desired humidity level between 55%RH and 95%RH in 5% increments. The humidifier will automatically maintain this level.
• Timer Button: Press to set an operating timer from 1 to 24 hours. The humidifier will automatically shut off when the set time expires.
• Night Light Button: Press to turn the soft night light on or off.

Aromatherapy Function:

To use essential oils, locate the aromatherapy tray (usually a small drawer or compartment on the side or back of the base unit). Add a few drops of water-soluble essential oil onto the aroma pad. Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and to prevent mineral buildup and bacterial growth. Always unplug the humidifier before cleaning.

Daily Maintenance:

• Empty and rinse the water tank and base unit with fresh water.
• Wipe down all surfaces with a clean, dry cloth.

Weekly Cleaning:

1. Descaling:
   • Mix 1 teaspoon of white vinegar with 1 cup of water.
   • Pour the solution into the water tank and base unit, ensuring it covers any mineral buildup.
   • Let it soak for 20-30 minutes.
   • Brush away any mineral deposits with a soft brush.
   • Rinse thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
2. Disinfecting:
   • Mix 1 teaspoon of bleach with 1 gallon of water.
   • Pour a small amount into the water tank and base unit.
   • Swish the solution around to wet all surfaces.
   • Let it soak for 20 minutes.
   • Rinse thoroughly with clean water until the bleach smell is gone.
3. Aroma Pad: Clean the aroma pad or replace it if necessary.

Important: Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the humidifier.
