Product Overview

The Grelife 4L Top Fill Cool Mist Humidifier is designed to provide optimal humidity levels in your environment. It features a large water tank, adjustable mist output, a humidistat, timer function, and a night light.

Components:

Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present.
  2. Placement: Place the humidifier on a flat, stable, and waterproof surface. Ensure it is at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls, furniture, and electronic devices.
  3. Fill Water Tank:
    • Remove the top cover of the humidifier.
    • Pour clean, cool tap water directly into the water tank from the top opening. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
    • Replace the top cover securely.

  4. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The humidifier will enter standby mode.

Operating Instructions

The humidifier can be operated using the control panel on the base unit or the included remote control.

Aromatherapy Function:

To use essential oils, locate the aromatherapy tray (usually a small drawer or compartment on the side or back of the base unit). Add a few drops of water-soluble essential oil onto the aroma pad. Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and to prevent mineral buildup and bacterial growth. Always unplug the humidifier before cleaning.

Daily Maintenance:

Weekly Cleaning:

  1. Descaling:
    • Mix 1 teaspoon of white vinegar with 1 cup of water.
    • Pour the solution into the water tank and base unit, ensuring it covers any mineral buildup.
    • Let it soak for 20-30 minutes.
    • Brush away any mineral deposits with a soft brush.
    • Rinse thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
  2. Disinfecting:
    • Mix 1 teaspoon of bleach with 1 gallon of water.
    • Pour a small amount into the water tank and base unit.
    • Swish the solution around to wet all surfaces.
    • Let it soak for 20 minutes.
    • Rinse thoroughly with clean water until the bleach smell is gone.
  3. Aroma Pad: Clean the aroma pad or replace it if necessary.

Important: Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the humidifier.

Troubleshooting
