2. Safety Information

4. Product Overview
The Homcloud Telecamera WiFi Speed 16T 2K is an outdoor security camera featuring 2K resolution, 360° pan and tilt rotation, color night vision, and smart tracking capabilities. It is designed for comprehensive surveillance and can be controlled via the Homcloud or Smart Life app.

5. Setup
5.1. Installation
The camera can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. Choose a location that provides the desired viewing angle and has access to a power outlet.
- Prepare the Mounting Surface: Use the included mounting template (if provided, or the camera base) to mark the drill holes on the wall or ceiling.
- Drill Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked positions.
- Secure the Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to the surface using the provided screws and wall anchors.
- Attach the Camera: Securely attach the camera unit to the mounting bracket. Ensure it is firmly in place.
- Connect Power: Plug the 12V/1A power adapter into the camera's power port and then into a power outlet.

5.2. App Download and Account Creation
The Homcloud Telecamera WiFi Speed 16T 2K operates with the Homcloud app or the Smart Life app. Both are available for iOS and Android devices.
- Download the App: Search for "Homcloud" or "Smart Life" in the Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android).
- Install the App: Follow the on-screen instructions to install the app.
- Create an Account: Open the app and register for a new account using your email address or phone number. If you already have an account, log in.

5.3. Device Pairing
Follow these steps to add your camera to the app:
- Power On: Ensure the camera is powered on and the indicator light is blinking rapidly (indicating pairing mode). If not, press and hold the reset button for 5-10 seconds until it blinks rapidly.
- Add Device: Open the Homcloud/Smart Life app, tap the "+" icon (usually in the top right corner) to add a device.
- Select Device Type: Choose "Security & Video Surveillance" then "Smart Camera (Wi-Fi)".
- Confirm Indicator: Confirm that the indicator light is blinking rapidly in the app.
- Enter Wi-Fi Details: Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. (5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported).
- Scan QR Code: The app will generate a QR code. Hold your phone approximately 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) in front of the camera lens until you hear a prompt sound from the camera.
- Connection: Once the camera connects, the indicator light will turn solid blue. The app will confirm the successful addition of the device.
- Name Device: Assign a name to your camera for easy identification.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Live View
From the app's home screen, tap on your camera's name to access the live video feed. You can view real-time footage from your camera.
6.2. Pan & Tilt Control
In the live view interface, use the directional controls (joystick icon) to remotely adjust the camera's viewing angle. The camera supports 360° horizontal (pan) and vertical (tilt) rotation for comprehensive coverage.
6.3. Smart Tracking
Enable Smart Tracking in the camera settings within the app. When activated, the camera will automatically detect and follow moving objects within its field of view, keeping them centered in the frame.
6.4. Two-Way Audio
Tap the microphone icon in the live view to speak through the camera's speaker. Tap the speaker icon to listen to audio from the camera's microphone. Note that communication is not simultaneous; you must switch between speaking and listening.
6.5. Night Vision
The camera features Starlight Color Night Vision, providing clear, full-color images even in low-light conditions. This mode activates automatically when ambient light is insufficient. Standard infrared night vision is also available for complete darkness.
6.6. Recording and Storage
- MicroSD Card: Insert a microSD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the designated slot. The camera supports 24/7 continuous recording or event-triggered recording. Format the card via the app settings.
- Cloud Storage: Optional cloud storage plans are available through the app for secure off-site video backup. Refer to the app for subscription details.
6.7. Smart Home Integration
The Homcloud Speed 16T 2K is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Follow the instructions in the respective smart home app to link your Homcloud/Smart Life account and enable voice control or live feed viewing on compatible devices (e.g., Amazon Echo Show, Google Nest Hub).
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the camera lens and body with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Firmware Updates: Regularly check the app for available firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance and security.
- Power Cycle: If the camera becomes unresponsive, disconnect the power adapter for 10 seconds and then reconnect it.
8. Troubleshooting
- Camera not connecting to Wi-Fi:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. 5GHz networks are not supported.
- Verify the Wi-Fi password is correct.
- Place the camera closer to your Wi-Fi router during setup.
- Reset the camera by pressing the reset button until the indicator light blinks rapidly, then try pairing again.
- No live view:
- Check your internet connection.
- Ensure the camera is powered on and connected to Wi-Fi (solid blue indicator light).
- Restart the app.
- MicroSD card not recording:
- Ensure the microSD card is inserted correctly.
- Format the microSD card through the app settings.
- Check if the card is damaged or full. Replace if necessary.
- Poor image quality:
- Clean the camera lens.
- Ensure sufficient lighting for optimal image clarity.
- Check your Wi-Fi signal strength; a weak signal can affect streaming quality.
