5. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your NETUM SD-2000NC:

- Prepare Document: Place the document or book flat on the scanning mat, ensuring it is within the A4 scanning area.
- Adjust Lighting: Use the adjustable LED lights on the camera head to ensure optimal illumination and minimize shadows.
- Initiate Scan: Use the software interface or the foot pedal (if applicable) to trigger a scan. The AutoFocus feature will automatically adjust for clarity.
- Process Image: The software provides features such as automatic correction, image segmentation, and merging of both sides of scanned document photos for efficient processing.
- Utilize OCR: For editable text, use the built-in OCR (Optical Character Recognition) function. The device can recognize over 100 different languages and convert scanned pages into editable formats like JPG, PDF, Searchable PDF, Word, Excel, and TIFF.
