4.2 Attaching Adapters and Sockets

- Select the appropriate adapter (1/2\" to 3/8\" or 1/2\" to 1/4\") if your socket is not 1/2-inch.
- Firmly attach the adapter to the 1/2-inch drive of the digital torque adapter.
- Attach your desired socket to the adapter or directly to the 1/2-inch drive.
- Ensure all connections are secure before use.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press the 'P/C' button to turn on the device. The display will light up.
- Power Off: Press and hold the 'P/C' button for a few seconds to turn off the device. The device will also automatically power off after 5 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.
5.2 Unit Selection
The adapter supports four torque units: N.m, ft.lb, in.lb, and kgf.cm.

- With the device powered on, press the 'U/S' button repeatedly to cycle through the available units (N.m, ft.lb, in.lb, kgf.cm).
- Select the desired unit for your measurement.
5.3 Measurement Modes
The device offers three measurement modes: Real-time (Track), Peak, and Preset.
- Real-time Mode (Track): Displays the current torque being applied. This is useful for monitoring torque as it is being applied. To select, press the 'M' button until \"track\" appears on the display.
- Peak Mode: Captures and displays the maximum torque value reached during the application. This is useful for verifying the highest torque applied. To select, press the 'M' button until \"peak\" appears on the display.
- Preset Mode: Allows you to set a target torque value. The device will provide an audible and visual alarm when the target torque is approached and reached. To select, press the 'M' button until \"preset\" appears on the display.
5.4 Setting Target Torque (Preset Mode)
When in Preset Mode:
- Enter Preset Mode by pressing the 'M' button.
- Press the 'U/S' button to enter the setting interface. The target torque value will flash.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the target torque value.
- Press the 'U/S' button again to confirm the setting.
5.5 Applying Torque and Alarm Function
Once the mode and unit are selected, apply torque to the fastener. The device will display the torque value in real-time (Track mode) or capture the peak (Peak mode).

- Audible and Visual Alarm: In Preset Mode, as you approach the target torque, the device will emit a continuous beep and the indicator light will flash. When the target torque is reached, the beep will become continuous and the red indicator light will stay solid.
- Stop applying torque immediately when the alarm indicates the target has been reached to avoid over-torquing.
6. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
