3. Setup Guide
3.1 What's Included
- 1 x 2MP Security Camera
Important Note: A DVR device, BNC cable, and power adapter are NOT INCLUDED with this camera. These essential components must be purchased separately to operate the camera. The camera requires connection to a DVR for functionality.
3.2 Connection Steps
- Prepare Components: Ensure you have a compatible DVR, a BNC cable of appropriate length, and a power adapter (12V DC recommended).
- Connect BNC Cable: Connect one end of the BNC cable to the BNC port on the camera and the other end to a BNC input port on your DVR.
- Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the camera's power input and plug the adapter into a power outlet.
- Connect DVR: Ensure your DVR is properly set up and connected to a monitor for viewing.
- Power On: Power on the DVR and the camera. The camera feed should appear on your monitor.

3.3 Mounting the Camera
The camera can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. Choose a location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within reach of power and BNC cable connections. Use appropriate screws and anchors for secure installation.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Viewing Live Feed
Once the camera is connected to your DVR and powered on, the live video feed will be displayed on the monitor connected to your DVR. Refer to your DVR's user manual for instructions on navigating the interface, viewing multiple cameras, and accessing playback.
4.2 Night Vision Operation
The camera automatically switches to night vision mode in low-light conditions. The built-in infrared LEDs illuminate the area, providing clear full-color night vision up to 100 feet. Ensure no obstructions are blocking the LEDs for optimal performance.

4.3 Video Output Switching
This camera supports 4 different video outputs: TVI, CVI, AHD, and CVBS. The camera can automatically adapt to the DVR's video format. If manual switching is required, consult your DVR's manual or the camera's specific instructions for video mode adjustment, typically involving a joystick on the cable or OSD menu via the DVR.

5.1 Cleaning the Camera
To ensure optimal image quality, regularly clean the camera lens and housing.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the camera body.
- For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth and a specialized lens cleaning solution to avoid scratches.
