1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Yaheetech Modern Faux Leather Office Chair. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new chair. Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain them for future reference.

Important Safety Information:

• This chair has a maximum weight capacity of 300 lbs (136 kg). Do not exceed this limit.
• Ensure all components are securely fastened before use.
• Keep children and pets away from the assembly area.
• Use the chair on a flat, stable surface.

2. Package Contents

3. Assembly Instructions

Assembly of your Yaheetech office chair is straightforward and requires only a few steps. All necessary hardware and tools are provided.

Step 1: Prepare the Gas Lift

Before attaching the gas lift to the chair mechanism, it is crucial to remove the black plastic protective cap from the top of the gas lift cylinder. Failure to do so will prevent the chair's height adjustment function from working correctly.

Step 2: Attach Casters to the Base

Insert the five heavy-duty caster wheels into the openings at the ends of the chair base. Push firmly until they click into place.

Step 3: Insert Gas Lift into the Base

Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled chair base.

Step 4: Attach Mechanism to the Seat

Align the chair mechanism with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Secure it using the provided screws and the Allen wrench. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat.

Step 5: Connect Seat to Gas Lift

Carefully place the assembled seat (with mechanism attached) onto the top of the gas lift cylinder. Press down firmly to secure the connection.

4. Operating Instructions

Your Yaheetech office chair is designed for comfort and adjustability to suit your needs.

Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height, pull the lever located under the seat upwards. While holding the lever, stand up to raise the seat or sit down to lower it. Release the lever to lock the height in place.

Tilt Function and Tension

The chair features a center-tilt mechanism allowing you to rock back and forth between 90-110 degrees. To activate the rocking motion, pull out the lever located under the seat. Push the lever in to lock the chair in an upright position.

You can adjust the tilt tension by turning the round knob beneath the seat. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).

360° Swivel and Mobility

The chair offers a full 360° swivel for easy rotation. The five caster wheels provide smooth and quiet mobility across various floor surfaces.

Ergonomic Design

This chair features an ergonomic shape with a 14.6-inch high backrest for mid-back and lower back support, reducing fatigue. The curved, padded armrests provide comfortable support for your arms.

5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and appearance of your chair, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the faux leather.
• Regular Checks: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
• Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the faux leather to fade or crack.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your chair, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Chair not adjusting height: Ensure the black plastic cap has been removed from the gas lift cylinder (refer to Assembly Step 1). Check if the height adjustment lever is fully engaged.
• Chair wobbles: Verify that all screws and bolts are securely tightened. Ensure the chair is on a flat, even surface.
• Casters not rolling smoothly: Check for any debris or hair caught in the caster wheels. Clean them if necessary.
• Difficulty reclining/rocking: Adjust the tilt tension knob under the seat. Turn counter-clockwise to loosen the tension. Ensure the tilt lever is pulled out to enable rocking.
