4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Battery

  1. Connect the camera to a USB power adapter (5V, ≥1A) or a computer's USB port using the provided USB cable.
  2. The charging indicator light will show the charging status. Refer to the camera's display for battery level.
  3. A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours.

4.2. Inserting a Micro SD Card

The camera supports Micro SD (TF) cards up to 128GB. A Class 10 or higher speed card is recommended for 4K recording.

  1. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the camera.
  2. Gently insert the Micro SD card with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, push the card in slightly until it springs out.

5.1. Video Recording

  1. Turn on the camera.
  2. Navigate to the video recording mode using the Mode button.
  3. Press the Record button to start recording. A red indicator light or on-screen icon will confirm recording is active.
  4. Press the Record button again to stop recording. The video file will be saved automatically.
  5. To change video resolution (4K/1080P/720P), access the settings menu in video mode.

5.2. Taking Photos

  1. Turn on the camera.
  2. Navigate to the photo mode using the Mode button.
  3. Press the Shutter button to take a photo. The image will be saved automatically.

5.3. Night Vision

The camera features automatic night vision. When the ambient light is low, the infrared lights will activate to enhance recording clarity. No manual activation is typically required.

5.4. Motion Detection Recording

  1. In the settings menu, enable the "Motion Detection" feature.
  2. When motion is detected, the camera will automatically begin recording.
  3. Recording will pause after approximately 20 seconds of no motion.

5.5. Loop Recording

The camera supports loop recording, which means it will continuously record and overwrite the oldest files when the memory card is full. The loop recording duration is set to 10 minutes per segment.

5.6. Timestamp

You can enable or disable the timestamp feature in the camera's settings menu to display the date and time on your recordings.

5.7. Connecting to a Computer

  1. Connect the camera to your computer using the provided USB cable.
  2. The camera will appear as a removable disk drive.
