Setup Instructions

  1. Placement: Place the paraffin bath on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure it is away from water sources and out of reach of children.

  3. Power On & Melt: Plug the unit into a suitable electrical outlet. The display will light up. Set the desired melting temperature (e.g., 70°C / 158°F) using the touch controls. The 200W heating element and aluminum liner will melt 3 x 450g of wax in approximately 45 minutes.

  5. Insert Insulation Grid: Once the wax is fully melted and has cooled to a safe temperature (typically around 50-55°C / 122-131°F), carefully place the thermal insulation grid into the pot. This grid prevents direct contact with the heating element and provides a stable surface for immersion.

Operating Instructions (Paraffin Treatment)

  1. Prepare Skin: Ensure your hands, feet, or elbows are clean and dry. Remove any jewelry.

  2. Test Temperature: Before immersing, test a small amount of wax on your wrist or inner arm to ensure the temperature is comfortable and not too hot. The recommended treatment temperature is typically between 50-55°C (122-131°F).

  3. Immerse: Slowly dip your hand, foot, or elbow into the melted wax. Keep it submerged for approximately 20 seconds, then slowly remove it. Allow the wax to dry slightly on your skin. Repeat this process 3 to 5 times until a thick layer of wax forms.

  4. Cover: After applying the desired layers of wax, immediately cover the treated area with a plastic glove liner (provided). For enhanced heat retention, place a thermal glove over the plastic liner.

  5. Relax: Allow the wax to remain on your skin for 10-15 minutes. This allows the heat to penetrate and moisturize the skin.

  6. Remove Wax: Gently peel off the hardened wax, starting from the wrist or ankle. The wax should come off easily, taking dead skin cells with it. Dispose of used wax; do not reuse it for hygienic reasons.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning:
    • Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
    • To clean the interior, allow the remaining wax to solidify. Once solid, gently push on one end of the wax block to lift it out. Use the provided silicone scraper if needed.
    • Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
    • Ensure the unit is completely dry before storing or next use.
  • Wax Replacement: It is recommended to replace the paraffin wax after approximately 20-30 uses, or if it appears dirty or contaminated.
  • Storage: Store the paraffin bath in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the lid closed to prevent dust accumulation.
