2. Getting Started
2.1. Powering the Device
The Elan One2 can be powered in two ways:
- AC Power: Connect the supplied power cable to the DC IN port on the side of the radio and plug it into a wall outlet. The radio will power on automatically upon connection.
- Battery Power: For portable use, insert 4 x AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the rear of the unit. Ensure correct polarity. The radio can then be powered on using the power switch.

2.2. Initial Setup
Upon first power-on, the Elan One2 will automatically scan for available DAB+ stations and set the time and date. This process may take a few moments. Once complete, the radio will tune to the first available station.
Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal reception, especially for FM and DAB+ broadcasts.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1. Controls Overview
The Elan One2 features a straightforward control panel on its top surface. Familiarize yourself with the buttons and dial for easy operation.

- Power/Volume Dial: Rotate to adjust volume. Press to power on/off or select menu options.
- Source: Switch between DAB+, FM, and Bluetooth modes.
- Menu/Back: Access the menu or go back to the previous screen.
- Info: Display information about the current station or track.
- Stations (Left/Right Arrows): Navigate through available stations or menu options.
- Presets (1-5): Quickly access your saved favorite stations.
- Snooze: Snooze the alarm when it sounds.
3.2. Tuning to Radio Stations (DAB+/FM)
- Press the Source button to select either DAB+ or FM mode.
- In DAB+ mode, the radio will automatically scan for stations. Use the Stations left/right arrows to browse the list of available stations. Press the Select dial to tune to a station.
- In FM mode, use the Stations left/right arrows to manually tune to a frequency. Press and hold the Stations arrows for automatic scanning to the next available station.
3.3. Saving Presets
The Elan One2 allows you to save up to 5 favorite stations for each radio mode (DAB+ and FM).
- Tune to the station you wish to save.
- Press and hold one of the Preset buttons (1-5) until "Preset Saved" appears on the display.
- To recall a saved station, simply press the corresponding Preset button (1-5).
3.4. Bluetooth Operation
Use the Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity to stream audio wirelessly from your compatible devices.
- Press the Source button until "Bluetooth" mode is selected. The display will show "Pairing".
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), go to its Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
- Select "Pure Elan One2" from the list. Once connected, the display will show "Connected".
- You can now play audio from your device, and it will be output through the Elan One2 speaker.
3.5. Using the Headphone Output
For private listening, connect standard 3.5mm headphones (not included) to the headphone jack located on the side of the radio. The internal speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.
4. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Pure Elan One2 radio, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Wipe the radio with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the surface.
- Environment: Avoid exposing the radio to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, high humidity, or dusty environments.
- Antenna Care: Handle the telescopic antenna gently to prevent bending or breaking.
- Battery Replacement: If using batteries, replace all four AA batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries. Remove batteries if the unit will not be used for an extended period.
