4. Setup Guide

4.1 Charging the Camera

Before initial use, ensure the camera's internal battery is fully charged using the provided USB cable. Connect the USB cable to the camera's charging port and a standard 5V/1A USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

4.2 App Installation and Account Registration

1. Download the "ANRAN" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. Open the app and register a new account using your email address.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the registration process.

4.3 Adding the Camera to the App

1. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
2. In the ANRAN app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
3. Select "Security Camera" or the specific model if prompted.
4. Power on the camera. The camera will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light.
5. Follow the app's instructions to scan the QR code displayed on your phone with the camera lens. Hold the phone approximately 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) from the camera.
6. Once the camera successfully scans the QR code, it will emit a confirmation sound.
7. Wait for the camera to connect to your Wi-Fi network. This may take a few moments.
8. Once connected, you can name your camera and begin live viewing.

4.4 Mounting the Camera

1. Choose a suitable outdoor location with good Wi-Fi signal strength and direct sunlight exposure for the solar panel.
2. Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark the drill holes on the wall.
3. Drill holes and insert wall plugs if necessary.
4. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws.

5.1 Live View and Playback

• Open the ANRAN app and select your camera from the device list to access the live view.

• To view recorded footage, navigate to the "Playback" section in the app.

5.2 Two-Way Audio

• While in live view, tap the microphone icon to speak through the camera's speaker.
• Tap the speaker icon to listen to audio from the camera's microphone.

5.3 Motion Detection and Alerts

• Access "Settings" for your camera in the app.

• Battery Health: While solar-powered, prolonged periods of low sunlight or high activity may deplete the battery. If the battery level drops significantly, manually charge the camera using the USB cable.
• Firmware Updates: Check the ANRAN app periodically for firmware updates. Keeping the camera's firmware updated ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features.
