1. Introduction

The isinwheel SK12/SK14 Electric Balance Bike is designed to provide a fun and engaging riding experience for children aged 3 to 8. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your electric balance bike. Please read all instructions carefully before first use.

Safety Warnings

• Always ensure the rider wears a properly fitted helmet and appropriate protective gear, including knee pads and elbow pads.
• Adult supervision is required at all times when the bike is in use.
• Do not exceed the maximum weight recommendation of 110 pounds (50 kg).
• Do not exceed the maximum speed of 7 MPH (11.3 km/h).

3. Setup and Assembly

The isinwheel Electric Balance Bike comes 90% pre-installed, requiring minimal assembly. Follow these steps to get your bike ready for its first ride.

Step-by-Step Assembly

1. Attach the Front Wheel:

   Align the front wheel with the forks. Insert the front axle through the wheel hub and secure it with the provided nuts and washers. Ensure the directional arrow on the tire points forward. Tighten securely with the wrench.

2. Install Handlebars:

   Loosen the clamp on the handlebar stem. Insert the handlebars into the stem and adjust to the desired angle. Tighten the clamp firmly using the hex key to ensure the handlebars are secure and do not rotate.

3. Adjust the Seat:

   The seat height is adjustable to accommodate children of different ages and heights (13.4 inches to 16.5 inches). Loosen the quick-release lever on the seat post, adjust the seat to a comfortable height where the child can easily touch the ground with their feet, and then firmly close the quick-release lever.

4. Charge the Battery:

   Before first use, fully charge the battery. The swappable battery design allows for easy removal for charging. Connect the charger to the battery and plug it into a power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will show charging status (typically red for charging, green for fully charged). A full charge takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

4. Operating Instructions

Starting the Bike

The isinwheel Electric Balance Bike features a unique start-up mechanism. There is no need to press an on/off button to activate the motor. Simply glide with both feet to gain initial speed, and the motor will automatically engage. If the bike is not glided for two minutes, it will automatically shut off to conserve battery. Glide again to reactivate.

Speed Adjustment

The bike offers two adjustable speed settings for different skill levels:

• Low Speed: Approximately 3.7 MPH (6 km/h)
• High Speed: Approximately 6.2 MPH (10 km/h)

The speed button is located under the bike. Press it to toggle between the two speed modes. The maximum speed is capped at 7 MPH for safety.

Braking System

The SK12/SK14 is equipped with a reliable electronic braking system and dual disc brakes for efficient and responsive stopping power. The brake lever is located on the handlebars. Riders should practice braking in a safe area before riding at higher speeds.

Foot Placement

Once the motor is engaged, riders can place their feet on the designated footrests located on the frame. This allows for a comfortable and stable riding position while the electric motor propels the bike.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your isinwheel Electric Balance Bike.

• Battery Care: Always charge the battery fully after each use. Store the battery in a cool, dry place. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% every 2-3 months.
• Tire Pressure: The bike uses inflatable tires. Regularly check and maintain the recommended tire pressure for optimal performance and safety.
• Cleaning: Wipe down the bike with a damp cloth after use. Avoid using high-pressure water jets or harsh chemicals, which can damage electronic components.
