Operating Instructions
Starting the Engine (Kick Start)
- Ensure the transmission is in Neutral (N). The neutral switch will indicate this.
- Turn on the ignition.
- Operate the kick starter firmly and smoothly until the engine starts.
Gear Shifting
This engine features a 4-speed forward + Neutral (1-N-2-3-4 return type) manual transmission. The gear shift pattern is as follows:
- 1st Gear: Down from Neutral
- Neutral: Between 1st and 2nd gear
- 2nd, 3rd, 4th Gears: Up from Neutral
Important: Gear shifting is prohibited unless the accelerator is loosened (throttle closed). Attempting to shift gears with the throttle open can damage the transmission.
