Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your PlayStation®5 Digital Edition (slim), please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the console and a working power outlet. Try a different outlet.
- No Display: Verify the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the console and your TV. Try a different HDMI port on your TV or a different HDMI cable. Ensure your TV is set to the correct HDMI input.
- Controller Not Responding: Ensure the DualSense controller is charged. Connect it to the console with the USB cable to re-pair it. If issues persist, try resetting the controller using the small button on the back.
- Network Connection Issues: Check your internet router and modem. Restart them if necessary. On the PS5, go to Settings > Network > Connection Status to diagnose issues. Try connecting via a wired Ethernet cable if Wi-Fi is unstable.
- Game Performance Issues: Ensure the game and system software are fully updated. If a game is performing poorly, try rebuilding the database (Safe Mode option 5).
