7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your AMHVMU P2 HUD, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device does not power on. | No power from OBD port; loose cable connection; vehicle ignition off. | Ensure OBD cable is securely connected to both the HUD and the vehicle's OBD2 port. Turn on vehicle ignition. Test on another vehicle if possible. |
| No data displayed (OBD mode). | OBD2 protocol incompatibility; faulty OBD cable; vehicle not running. | Ensure your vehicle supports OBD2 protocol. Check if the engine is running. Try restarting the vehicle and the HUD. |
| GPS signal lost or inaccurate. | Poor satellite reception (e.g., in tunnels, underground parking, dense urban areas); device not in clear view of sky. | Move the vehicle to an open area with clear sky view. Wait for the device to acquire satellite signals. GPS functionality may be temporarily affected in tunnels or covered areas. |
| Display is too dim or too bright. | Automatic brightness adjustment issue; manual brightness setting. | Check if the photosensitive aperture is obstructed. Adjust brightness manually through the settings menu if automatic adjustment is not optimal. |
| Alarms trigger too frequently or not at all. | Alarm thresholds incorrectly set. | Access the settings menu to review and adjust the alarm thresholds for speed, RPM, temperature, and voltage to appropriate levels for your vehicle and driving habits. |
If the problem persists after trying these solutions, please contact customer support.
