Connecting the Drive
- Connect the integrated USB data cable from the external drive to an available USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 port on your computer.
- If your computer only has USB-C ports, use the provided USB A to USB C adapter.
- For optimal performance, especially during DVD burning or on systems with low power USB ports, connect the drive to a powered USB hub or use an additional 5V, 10-Watt power supply (not included) via the mini USB port.
Plug and Play Operation
The ORIGBELIE BT524 is a plug-and-play device. No additional drivers are required for most operating systems. Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary components upon connection.

Troubleshooting
Drive Not Recognized
- Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the drive and your computer.
- Try connecting to a different USB port.
- If using a desktop computer, connect to a USB port on the back of the tower, as front ports may not provide sufficient power.
- If the issue persists, try using a powered USB hub or an external 5V power adapter (not included) to ensure adequate power supply.
Disc Not Reading/Writing
- Check if the disc is clean and free from scratches or smudges.
- Ensure the disc is placed correctly on the tray.
- Verify that the disc type (CD/DVD) is supported by the drive.
- For DVDs, ensure the region code of the disc matches the drive's region setting. The drive allows for a limited number of region code changes.
