4. Setup Guide
- Unpack the Keyboard: Carefully remove the keyboard and its accessories from the packaging.
- Connect the USB Cable: Insert the USB-C end of the provided cable into the port on the keyboard. Connect the other end (USB-A) to an available USB port on your computer (Laptop or PC).

- Turn Clockwise: Increase volume.
- Turn Counter-Clockwise: Decrease volume.
- Press Down: Play/Pause media.

5.2 RGB Lighting Control

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Keyboard
- General Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe down the keycaps and keyboard frame. Avoid excessive moisture.
- Dust Removal: Use compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps.
- Deep Cleaning: For a more thorough clean, you can remove the keycaps using the provided keycap puller. Clean the keycaps separately with mild soap and water, ensuring they are completely dry before reattaching.
6.2 Replacing Keycaps and Switches (Hot-Swappable)
The AK820 features hot-swappable switches, allowing for easy replacement without soldering.
- Remove Keycap: Use the provided keycap puller to gently pull up the desired keycap until it detaches from the switch.
- Remove Switch: Use a switch puller (not included, but often comes with replacement switches) to carefully grip the switch and pull it straight up from the PCB.
- Install New Switch: Align the pins of the new 3-pin or 5-pin switch with the holes on the PCB. Gently push the switch down until it clicks into place. Ensure the switch is seated firmly and straight.
- Reattach Keycap: Place the keycap onto the new switch and press down firmly until it snaps into place.
