Maintenance

Automatic Defrost

This refrigerator features an automatic defrost system for both the fresh food and freezer compartments, eliminating the need for manual defrosting.

General Care

Periodically check the door gaskets for proper seal. Clean the condenser coils at the back or bottom of the refrigerator annually to ensure efficient operation. Ensure the refrigerator is not overloaded, which can impede air circulation and cooling efficiency.

Troubleshooting

  • Refrigerator not cooling: Check if the power cord is securely plugged in. Ensure the temperature controls are set correctly. Verify that the door is fully closed and not obstructed.
  • Unusual noises: Some operational noises are normal (e.g., hum of the compressor, gurgling of refrigerant). If noises are excessive or unusual, ensure the refrigerator is level and not touching walls or cabinets.
  • Excessive frost in freezer: While the unit has automatic defrost, excessive frost can indicate a faulty door seal or frequent/prolonged door openings.
  • Water on floor: Check the drain pan and drain tube for clogs. Ensure the refrigerator is level.

For persistent issues, refer to the full troubleshooting guide in your comprehensive user manual or contact customer support.
