Setup Guide

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the cordless handset.
  2. Slide the cover downwards to open it.
  3. Connect the rechargeable battery pack connector to the jack inside the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Place the battery pack into the compartment.
  5. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2. Base Unit Connection

  1. Connect one end of the telephone line cord (coaxial cable) to the LINE jack on the back of the base unit.
  2. Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to a standard telephone wall jack.
  3. Plug the small end of the phone adapter into the POWER jack on the back of the base unit.
  4. Plug the larger end of the phone adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
  5. Place the handset on the base unit to charge. The CHARGE indicator on the base unit should illuminate. Allow the handset to charge for at least 12-16 hours before initial use.

Operating Instructions

Making a Call

  1. Press the TALK button to get a dial tone.
  2. Dial the desired phone number using the numeric keypad.
  3. To end the call, press the OFF button or place the handset back on the base unit.

Receiving a Call

  1. When the phone rings, press the TALK button to answer.
  2. To end the call, press the OFF button or place the handset back on the base unit.

Adjusting Volume

During a call, press the VOL+ or VOL- buttons to adjust the earpiece volume. The phone also features control for ringer volume.

Caller ID

When a call comes in, the caller's number and name (if available and stored in your phonebook) will be displayed on the backlit screen. The phone supports caller ID for one call at a time and can store up to 30 contacts.

Ringtones

Your phone offers 4 different ringtones. Refer to the on-screen menu options to select your preferred ringtone. Use the MENU/SELECT button to navigate and confirm selections.
