Step-by-Step Installation (General)

  1. Turn off Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the light fixture and turn off the power. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
  2. Prepare Wiring: If installing into a new junction box, ensure wires are properly stripped. If replacing an existing fixture, disconnect the old fixture.

  4. Connect Wires: Connect the wires from the disk light to the house wiring using appropriate wire nuts (typically black to black, white to white, and ground to ground).
  5. Secure Fixture:
    • For Junction Box: Secure the disk light directly to the junction box using the provided screws.
    • For Recessed Can: Attach the appropriate adapter (TP24 or E26) to the can's socket. Compress the spring clips on the disk light and insert them into the mounting brackets inside the recessed can. Push the light firmly into the ceiling until it is flush.
  6. Restore Power: Once the fixture is securely installed, turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.
