4. Installation

4.1 Mounting Options and Dimensions
The fan supports both flat and sloped ceiling installations (maximum 10-degree slope). Various downrod lengths are provided to accommodate different ceiling heights.

- Secure the Mounting Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling outlet box.

- Hang the Fan: Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it on the mounting bracket.

- Attach Fan Blades: Securely attach the three wooden fan blades to the motor housing.

5.1 Remote Control Pairing

The VONLUCE Smart Ceiling Fan can be controlled via the Smart Life or Tuya Smart app. Follow these general steps to connect your fan:
- Download App: Download the 'Smart Life' or 'Tuya Smart' app from your device's app store.
- Register/Log In: Create an account or log in.
- Add Device: Tap '+' or 'Add Device' in the app. Select 'Small Home Appliances' or 'Fan'.
- Reset Device: Follow the app's instructions to reset the fan (usually by pressing a button on the receiver or remote for 5 seconds until an indicator blinks).
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Enter your Wi-Fi password in the app.
- Pairing: The app will search for and connect to the fan. Once connected, you can rename the device.
5.3 Voice Control (Alexa/Google Home)
To enable voice control, link your Smart Life/Tuya Smart account with Amazon Alexa or Google Home through their respective apps.
