4. Installation

4.1 Mounting Options and Dimensions
The fan supports both flat and sloped ceiling installations (maximum 10-degree slope). Various downrod lengths are provided to accommodate different ceiling heights.

- Secure the Mounting Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling outlet box.
- Assemble Downrod and Motor: Insert the downrod through the canopy and connect it to the fan motor housing.
- Hang the Fan: Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it on the mounting bracket.
- Electrical Connections: Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring according to the wiring diagram in the full manual. Ensure the receiver is properly wired.
- Attach Fan Blades: Securely attach the three wooden fan blades to the motor housing.
- Install Light Kit: Connect and install the LED light kit to the bottom of the fan.
- Final Assembly: Secure the canopy and light kit cover.
5. Setup
5.1 Remote Control Pairing
After installation and restoring power, the remote control may need to be paired with the fan. Typically, this involves pressing and holding a specific button on the remote within a short timeframe after turning on the power.
5.2 App Control (Smart Life/Tuya Smart)
The VONLUCE Smart Ceiling Fan can be controlled via the Smart Life or Tuya Smart app. Follow these general steps to connect your fan:
- Download App: Download the 'Smart Life' or 'Tuya Smart' app from your device's app store.
- Register/Log In: Create an account or log in.
- Add Device: Tap '+' or 'Add Device' in the app. Select 'Small Home Appliances' or 'Fan'.
- Reset Device: Follow the app's instructions to reset the fan (usually by pressing a button on the receiver or remote for 5 seconds until an indicator blinks).
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Enter your Wi-Fi password in the app.
- Pairing: The app will search for and connect to the fan. Once connected, you can rename the device.
5.3 Voice Control (Alexa/Google Home)
To enable voice control, link your Smart Life/Tuya Smart account with Amazon Alexa or Google Home through their respective apps.

- Reverse Fan Direction: Changes the blade rotation for summer (downward airflow) or winter (upward airflow).
- Light Brightness: Adjusts light brightness from 0% to 100%.
- Color Temperature: Changes light color from warm white (3000K) to cool white (6500K).
- Night Light: Activates a low-brightness, warm light setting.
- Timer (1H/4H/8H): Sets the fan to turn off automatically after 1, 4, or 8 hours.
