Installation Instructions

This mirror is designed for direct-wire installation, requiring a junction box with a live wire at the mounting location. Due to the electrical nature of this product, professional installation by a licensed electrician is strongly recommended to ensure safety and proper functionality.

1. Preparation: Ensure the power supply to the installation area is turned off at the circuit breaker before beginning any work.
2. Mounting Location: Select a suitable wall location with an existing electrical junction box.
3. Secure Mounting Plate: Attach the provided mounting hardware to the wall, ensuring it is securely fastened to a stud or using appropriate wall anchors.
4. Electrical Connection: A licensed electrician should connect the mirror's wiring to the electrical supply within the junction box according to local electrical codes.
5. Attach Mirror: Once electrical connections are complete and secure, attach the mirror unit to the mounting plate.
6. Test Functionality: Restore power at the circuit breaker and test the mirror's light and swivel functions.

Operating Instructions

Magnification

The mirror features two sides: one with 1X magnification for general viewing and another with 8X magnification for detailed tasks such as tweezing or makeup application. To switch between magnifications, simply rotate the mirror head 180 degrees.

LED Lighting

The mirror is equipped with long-lasting LED bulbs for bright, even illumination. The light is controlled by a switch located on the mirror unit or its base. Turn the switch to the 'ON' position to activate the light and 'OFF' to deactivate it.

Adjustable Arm

The mirror is mounted on a 13.5-inch extendable arm, allowing you to pull the mirror closer for use or push it back against the wall to save space when not in use. The arm also swivels, providing flexibility in positioning the mirror to your desired angle.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

• Light Not Working:
  • Ensure the power supply to the mirror is active at the circuit breaker.
  • Check the light switch on the mirror unit to ensure it is in the 'ON' position.
  • If the LED bulbs are replaceable (consult a licensed electrician), they may need replacement.
• Mirror Appears Dim:
  • Verify the mirror surface is clean and free of smudges or dust.
  • The brightness of the LED light is fixed. If additional lighting is desired, external bathroom lighting may be required.
• Mirror Movement is Stiff:
  • The arm joints are designed for smooth movement. Avoid forcing the arm. If movement becomes excessively stiff, contact customer support.
