3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your TactSuit X40. Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the charging port located on the back of the vest and plug the other end into a 5V, 2A (max) USB power adapter. The LED indicator will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours.

3.2 Wearing and Adjusting the Vest

The TactSuit X40 is designed to be one-size-fits-all, with adjustable features to ensure a snug and comfortable fit for various body types.

  • Putting on the Vest: Unzip the front of the vest and put it on like a jacket. Zip it up completely.
  • Adjusting Width: Use the four side straps to adjust the vest's circumference. Pull the straps to tighten or loosen for a comfortable, secure fit around your torso. The vest can adjust from approximately 63.5cm (25") to 127cm (50") in width.
  • Adjusting Height: Utilize the shoulder snap buttons to adjust the vest's length. There are multiple snap positions to accommodate different torso lengths, ranging from approximately 57cm (22.5") to 61cm (24").
