Installation Steps
Follow these steps for proper installation:
- Prepare the Faucet: Ensure the O-ring is correctly seated at the base of the faucet body.
- Attach Thread Rod: Unscrew the M8 nut from the thread rod. Attach the thread rod securely to the underside of the faucet body.
- Connect Water Hoses: Connect the cold and hot water supply hoses to the corresponding ports on the faucet body. Hand-tighten them, then use a wrench for a quarter turn to ensure a snug fit without overtightening.
- Mount Faucet: Insert the faucet's thread rod and supply lines through the mounting hole in your sink.
- Secure Faucet: From underneath the sink, place the washer and metal plate over the thread rod. Secure the M8 nut to the thread rod using the provided tool until the faucet is stable.
- Flush Angle Stops: Before connecting the supply lines to the angle stops, briefly flush the angle stops to clear any debris from your water lines.
- Connect to Water Supply: Connect the faucet supply lines to the hot and cold angle stops. Use adapters if necessary for proper connection. Hand-tighten, then use a wrench for a quarter turn.
- Install Pop-Up Drain: Apply plumber's putty around the top edge of the pop-up drain. Insert the drain into the sink hole. From underneath, push the gaskets over the drain hole and screw the mounting nut until secure. Rock the drain gently to ensure it is not shaken. Connect the pop-up drain to your drainage hose.
- Test for Leaks: Slowly turn on the main water supply. Check all connections for leaks. Allow water to sit in the sink for approximately 15 minutes to confirm no leaks are present around the drain or supply lines.

Operating Instructions

Figure 3: The ARCORA faucet delivers a consistent water stream.
The ARCORA 1117A2B faucet features a single handle for easy operation. Move the handle to the left for hot water and to the right for cold water. Adjust the handle's position up or down to control the water flow rate. The integrated aerator ensures a smooth, non-splashing stream, configured for 1.2 and 2.2 GPM (Gallons Per Minute) to introduce air into the water for a larger, softer feel.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Faucet
To maintain the matte black finish, clean the faucet regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish. For stubborn spots, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by rinsing and drying.
Aerator Maintenance

Figure 4: The aerator mechanism ensures optimal water flow and prevents splashing.
If water flow decreases or becomes irregular, the aerator may be clogged. Unscrew the aerator from the spout, clean any mineral deposits or debris, and rinse thoroughly before reattaching. A spare aerator is included for replacement if needed.
Material Durability
The faucet body is constructed from sturdy stainless steel, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion for long-lasting performance. The ceramic cartridge is designed to withstand 500,000 open and close tests, minimizing leak points and ensuring reliable operation.
Troubleshooting
Water Leaks
- At Faucet Base: Ensure the O-ring is properly seated and the mounting nut is tightened sufficiently, but do not overtighten.
- At Supply Line Connections: Check that the hot and cold supply lines are securely connected to both the faucet and the angle stops. Ensure gaskets are correctly positioned and connections are hand-tightened plus a quarter turn with a wrench. Overtightening can damage gaskets.
- At Pop-Up Drain: Verify that plumber's putty was applied correctly and the mounting nut underneath the sink is uniformly tightened.
Low Water Flow
- Clogged Aerator: Remove and clean the aerator as described in the Maintenance section.
- Partially Closed Angle Stops: Ensure the hot and cold water angle stops under the sink are fully open.
- Supply Line Kinks: Check the supply lines for any kinks or obstructions that might restrict water flow.
