2. Safety Information

• Ensure the power supply to the light socket is turned off before installation or removal.
• This camera is designed for E26/E27 light bulb sockets. Do not attempt to install it in incompatible sockets.

5. Setup

5.1 Installation

1. Turn off Power: Before installation, ensure the power to the light socket is completely turned off at the circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock.
2. Screw in Camera: Carefully screw the adorcam D3 Light Bulb Security Camera into any standard E26 or E27 light bulb socket. Ensure it is securely fastened.
3. Turn on Power: Restore power to the light socket. The camera will power on and initiate its startup sequence.

5.2 App Download and Account Creation

1. Download App: Search for "Vicohome" in the Apple App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices) and download the application.
2. Create Account: Open the Vicohome app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new user account.

5.3 Connecting to Wi-Fi

1. Add Device: In the Vicohome app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
2. Select Device Type: Choose the appropriate camera type from the list.
3. Follow In-App Prompts: The app will guide you through the Wi-Fi connection process. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
4. Scan QR Code: The app will generate a QR code. Hold your phone with the QR code in front of the camera lens at a distance of 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) until you hear a confirmation sound from the camera.
5. Connection Confirmation: Once connected, the camera's indicator light will change, and the app will confirm successful pairing.

Access the live video feed from your camera anytime, anywhere via the Vicohome app. You can remotely control the camera's pan (360-degree) and tilt (90-degree) functions to adjust the viewing angle and monitor different areas.
