4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Preparing the Case
Open the tempered glass side panel by gently pulling it open. The panel is hinged and can be removed by lifting it off its hinges for easier access during installation.
4.2 Motherboard Installation
- Ensure the motherboard standoffs are correctly aligned for your ATX, M-ATX, or ITX motherboard. Adjust if necessary.
- Carefully place your motherboard into the case, aligning it with the standoffs and the I/O shield opening.
- Secure the motherboard with the appropriate screws.
4.3 GPU Installation
- Remove the necessary PCI-E slot covers from the rear of the case.
- Insert your graphics card into the PCI-E slot on the motherboard.
- Secure the graphics card with screws. The case supports GPUs up to 340mm in length.
4.4 Storage Drive Installation
- 2.5" SSDs: Mount SSDs to the designated trays or mounting points within the case.
- 3.5" HDDs: Install HDDs into the drive cage located near the power supply. The drive cage may be adjustable or removable for better cable management or PSU clearance.
4.5 Fan and Radiator Installation
The case supports various cooling configurations:
- Front: Up to 3 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm fans, or a 360mm liquid cooling radiator.
- Top: Up to 2 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm fans, or a 240mm liquid cooling radiator.
- Rear: 1 x 120mm fan (one pre-installed).
- Bottom: Up to 2 x 120mm fans.
Ensure fans are oriented correctly for optimal airflow (intake from front/bottom, exhaust from top/rear).
4.6 Cable Management
Utilize the cable routing channels and silicone grommets behind the motherboard tray to organize and hide cables. This improves airflow and the aesthetic appearance of your build.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Press the power button located on the top I/O panel to turn your system on or off. A short press typically powers on, while a longer press may initiate a forced shutdown.
5.2 ARGB Lighting Control
The ARGB LED strip and compatible ARGB fans can be controlled via your motherboard's 5V 3-pin ARGB header and associated software. Connect the ARGB cables to the motherboard's ARGB header and use the motherboard's utility to customize lighting effects.
5.3 Using I/O Ports
The top I/O panel provides convenient access to:
- USB 3.0 Ports: For high-speed data transfer with compatible devices.
- Type-C Port: For modern USB-C devices, offering faster data transfer rates.
- Microphone/Headphone Combo Jack: For audio input and output.
- Reset Button: To restart your system.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning Dust Filters
The Vetroo AL800 case features removable dust filters on the mesh front panel and potentially on the top and bottom. Regularly clean these filters to prevent dust buildup and maintain optimal airflow. Gently remove the filters and clean them with compressed air or by rinsing with water (ensure they are completely dry before reinstallation).
6.2 General Cleaning
Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior of the case. For the tempered glass panel, use a glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth to avoid streaks. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your PC build within the Vetroo AL800 case, consider the following general troubleshooting steps:
- No Power: Double-check all power connections from the power supply to the motherboard, CPU, and graphics card. Ensure the power button cable is correctly connected to the motherboard.
- No Display: Verify that your monitor is connected to the graphics card (not the motherboard's integrated graphics, unless intended). Reseat the graphics card and RAM modules.
- Overheating: Ensure all case fans are spinning and correctly oriented for airflow. Clean dust filters and check CPU cooler installation.
- ARGB Lighting Issues: Confirm the 5V 3-pin ARGB cable is securely connected to the motherboard. Check your motherboard's ARGB software for proper configuration.
- USB/Audio Ports Not Working: Ensure the front panel USB and audio cables are correctly connected to the corresponding headers on your motherboard.
