Setup
1. Charging the Parent Unit
Connect the smaller end of one power adapter to the Parent Unit's charging port and the larger end to a power outlet. Charge the unit fully before first use. The battery lasts approximately 10 hours in continuous light mode and 22 hours in VOX mode.
2. Powering the Baby Unit
Connect the smaller end of the second power adapter to the Baby Unit's power port and the larger end to a power outlet. The Baby Unit requires continuous power to operate.
3. Positioning the Units
- Place the Baby Unit (camera) at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from your baby's crib or playpen.
- Ensure the camera has a clear, unobstructed view of your baby.
- Adjust the camera's angle manually to achieve the desired viewing area.
- Place the Parent Unit (monitor) in a location where you can easily see and hear your baby.
- For optimal signal, avoid placing units near other electronic devices that may cause interference.
4. Pairing (Pre-paired from factory)
The Baby Unit and Parent Unit are pre-paired at the factory. If for any reason they lose connection, or if you wish to add an additional camera (supports up to 2 cameras), refer to the "Adding/Managing Cameras" section in Operating Instructions.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
Press and hold the Power button on the Parent Unit to turn it on or off. The Baby Unit powers on automatically when connected to power.
2. VOX Mode (Voice Operated Exchange)
In VOX mode, the screen of the Parent Unit will turn off to save power and battery life. It will automatically turn on when the Baby Unit detects sound above a certain sensitivity level. This mode significantly extends battery life.
3. Night Vision
The Baby Unit is equipped with infrared LEDs that automatically activate in low-light conditions, providing clear black-and-white video of your baby even in complete darkness.
4. Two-Way Audio (Intercom)
Press and hold the "Talk" button on the Parent Unit to speak to your baby through the Baby Unit's speaker. Release the button to hear your baby.
5. Temperature Display
The Parent Unit displays the real-time temperature of the baby's room, detected by the sensor on the Baby Unit. This helps ensure a comfortable environment for your baby.
6. Digital Zoom
Use the zoom function (typically via menu or dedicated button) to get a closer look at your baby on the Parent Unit screen.
7. Adding/Managing Cameras (Up to 2 Cameras)
The system supports connecting up to two cameras. To add an additional camera or re-pair:
- Access the camera management menu on the Parent Unit.
- Select "Add Camera" or "Pair Camera".
- Follow the on-screen prompts to initiate pairing.
- Press the pairing button on the Baby Unit (camera) within the specified time frame.
- Once paired, you can switch between cameras using the Parent Unit's controls.
Maintenance
- Clean the units with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents.
- Ensure the camera lens is free of dust and smudges for clear image quality.
- Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
- Avoid dropping the units or subjecting them to strong impacts.
