Safety Information

  • Ensure the vehicle's power is off before beginning installation to prevent electrical shock.
  • Always connect the whip lights to a 12V DC power source. Using a higher voltage power supply requires a voltage converter.
  • The control box has a built-in fuse for protection. Do not install an additional fuse unless specified.
  • Secure all wiring to prevent damage from vibration or environmental factors.
  • Verify local regulations regarding auxiliary lighting before operating on public roads.

Setup and Installation

  1. Mounting the Spring Base:

    Install the spring base into a 12mm hole on your vehicle. Secure it with the provided washer and nut. The reinforced spring base is designed for greater elasticity and pressure buffering on tough terrains.

  2. Connecting the Whip Light:

    Connect the whip light to the controller wire using the quick connect and release mechanism. Ensure the connection is secure. When not in use, protect the base with the provided dust cover.

  3. Wiring the Rocker Switch:

    Connect the controller wire to the included rocker switch, then connect the rocker switch to your vehicle's 12V battery. The rocker switch helps prevent battery drain and protects the whip light. Refer to the wiring diagram for proper connections.

  4. Attaching Flags:

    Use the provided flag holder set to attach your preferred flags to the whip lights. The kit includes 6 flags, with 2 unique Ehaho designs.

Operating Instructions

Dual Control: App & Remote

Your Ehaho Whip Lights can be controlled via a smartphone application or the included 24-key RF remote control, offering a wide range of customization options.

  • App Control: Explore hundreds of colors, dancing patterns, adjustable brightness, and speed settings. Create exclusive DIY colors and utilize the memory function to retain your favorite settings. The app also features a timing function to automatically turn lights on/off.
  • Remote Control: The 24-key remote allows for easy adjustment of color, brightness, and various chasing patterns.

Music Syncing

The whip lights can synchronize with your music's beats through the app or your phone's microphone, creating an immersive experience. Adjust the external mic sensitivity in the app before using this function.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the whip lights with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that may damage the LED housing.
  • Water Resistance: The whip lights are IP67 waterproof, sandproof, and shockproof. However, avoid prolonged submersion or high-pressure water jets directly on connections.
  • Storage: When not in use, especially during off-season or extended storage, disconnect the whip lights and use the dust cover to protect the base connection.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all connections and wiring for signs of wear or damage. Ensure the spring base is securely mounted.

Troubleshooting

  • Lights not turning on: Check all power connections, ensuring they are secure. Verify the rocker switch is in the 'ON' position. Confirm the vehicle's 12V battery is charged.
  • Lights flickering or inconsistent: Inspect wiring for loose connections or damage. Ensure the power source is stable.
  • Remote/App not responding: Check the remote's battery. Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled and correctly paired with the whip light controller.
  • Music sync not working: Adjust the external microphone sensitivity within the app. Ensure your phone's microphone is not obstructed.
