Maintenance
1. Emptying the Dustbin
The dustbin has a capacity of 1.2 liters. When the dustbin is full, the LED display will indicate this. To empty:
- Ensure the vacuum is turned off.
- Press the dustbin release button, usually located near the bottom of the handheld unit.
- Empty the contents into a trash receptacle.
- Reattach the dustbin securely.
2. Cleaning/Replacing the HEPA Filter
The RS7 PET includes an Advanced HEPA Filtration System, trapping 99.97% of dust and allergens. The LED display will indicate when the filter needs attention. To clean or replace:
- Ensure the vacuum is turned off and the dustbin is removed.
- Locate and remove the HEPA filter cartridge.
- Tap the filter gently to remove loose debris. If heavily soiled, rinse under cold water (ensure it's completely dry before reinserting, which may take 24 hours).
- Replace the filter if it's damaged or no longer cleans effectively.
- Reinsert the clean/new HEPA filter and reattach the dustbin.
