2. Safety Information
To ensure safe operation and prevent damage, please observe the following precautions:
- Power Source: Connect the unit only to an AC 110-240V ~ 50/60Hz power outlet.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Do not block ventilation openings.
- Water and Moisture: Do not expose the unit to rain, moisture, or dripping/splashing liquids. Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the apparatus.

4. Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the components of your Trevi HCX 10F6 system.

The main unit features a central LCD display, control buttons for playback and mode selection, a large volume knob, a front-loading CD/MP3 player, a USB port for MP3 playback, and a headphone jack. The system includes two external speakers for stereo sound.
5. Setup
Follow these steps for initial setup:
- Speaker Connection: Connect the two satellite speakers to the speaker output terminals on the rear of the main unit. Ensure correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative).
- FM Antenna: Extend the FM wire antenna for optimal radio reception. Position it away from other electronic devices.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cable into the AC inlet on the rear of the main unit, then plug the other end into a suitable wall power outlet (110-240V ~ 50/60Hz).
- Initial Power On: Press the STANDBY/MODE button on the front panel or the remote control to turn on the system.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
Press the STANDBY/MODE button to switch the unit between standby mode and active mode.
6.2 FM Radio Operation
- Press the MODE button repeatedly until 'FM' appears on the LCD display.
- To auto-scan and save stations: Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button (or equivalent on remote) to initiate an automatic search for FM stations. The system will automatically store up to 30 memorizable stations.
- To manually tune: Use the PREVIOUS/NEXT buttons to fine-tune the frequency.
- To select a saved station: Use the PREVIOUS/NEXT buttons to cycle through the memorized stations.
6.3 CD/MP3 Playback

- Press the MODE button to select 'CD' mode.
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button (if available, or gently push the tray) to open the CD tray.
- Place a CD or MP3 CD into the tray with the label side facing up.
- Close the CD tray. The system will begin reading the disc and playback will start automatically.
- Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, PREVIOUS, and NEXT buttons for playback control.
6.4 USB MP3 Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port on the front panel.
- Press the MODE button to select 'USB' mode.
- The system will automatically detect and begin playing MP3 files from the USB drive.
- Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, PREVIOUS, and NEXT buttons for playback control.
6.5 Bluetooth Connectivity
- Press the MODE button to select 'Bluetooth' mode. The LCD display will show 'BT' or 'PAIRING'.
- On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select 'HCX 10F6' (or similar name) from the list of devices to pair.
- Once paired, you can stream audio wirelessly from your device to the Hi-fi system.
6.6 AUX-IN Connection
- Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, PC) to the RCA AUX-IN stereo input on the rear of the main unit using an appropriate audio cable (not supplied).
- Press the MODE button to select 'AUX' mode.
- Audio from the connected device will now play through the Hi-fi system. Control playback from the external device.
6.7 Headphone Jack
Plug standard 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack on the front panel for private listening. The main speakers will be muted automatically.
6.8 Audio Equalization
The system features 5 audio equalization presets. Press the EQ button (or equivalent on remote) to cycle through Pop, Rock, Classic, Jazz, and Flat (normal) sound modes.
6.9 Remote Control
The included full-function remote control allows you to operate all features of the HCX 10F6 system from a distance.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Always unplug the unit before cleaning. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
- CD Care: Handle CDs by their edges. Keep them clean and free of scratches. Store them in their cases when not in use.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, unplug it from the power outlet and store it in a cool, dry place.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Trevi HCX 10F6, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Power:
- Ensure the power cable is securely plugged into both the unit and the wall outlet.
- Check if the wall outlet is functioning by plugging in another device.
- Press the STANDBY/MODE button to ensure the unit is not in standby.
- No Sound:
- Increase the volume level.
- Check speaker connections to ensure they are secure and correctly polarized.
- If headphones are plugged in, unplug them to enable speaker output.
- Ensure the correct input mode (CD, USB, FM, Bluetooth, AUX) is selected.

- Forget the device from your external device's Bluetooth settings and try pairing again.
- Poor FM Radio Reception:
- Adjust the position and orientation of the FM wire antenna.
- Move the unit away from other electronic devices that may cause interference.
