5. Setup

1. Attach the Ground Stake: Securely attach the provided ground stake to the bottom of the power stake timer unit. Ensure it is firmly twisted into place.
2. Placement: Choose a suitable outdoor location for the power stake. Insert the ground stake directly into the lawn or soil, ensuring the unit is stable and upright. The unit should be placed at least 1 foot above the ground to prevent water accumulation.
3. Connect to Power: Plug the 6FT power cord of the unit into a grounded outdoor electrical outlet.
4. Connect Devices: Open the protective covers on the outlets and plug in your outdoor lights or appliances. Ensure plugs are fully inserted. Close the protective covers when not in use or when plugs are inserted to maintain weather resistance.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Manual Operation (On-Unit Buttons)

• Power Button: Press the main power button on the unit to manually turn all connected outlets ON or OFF.
• Timer/Sensor Button: Press this button to cycle through the available timing modes: Always On, Always Off, Dusk-to-Dawn, 2-hour countdown, 4-hour countdown, 6-hour countdown, and 8-hour countdown. The indicator lights will show the selected mode.

6.2 Remote Control Operation

The included wireless remote control allows for convenient operation from up to 100 feet away.

• ON/OFF Buttons: Press 'ON' to turn all connected devices on, and 'OFF' to turn them off.
• Timer Buttons (2H, 4H, 6H, 8H): Press the corresponding button to activate a countdown timer for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. The unit will automatically turn off after the selected duration.
• Sensor Button: Press this button to activate the Dusk-to-Dawn mode. The unit will turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn.
