2. Product Overview
The Goldair GIM-200S is a compact ice maker designed for convenient home use. It produces bullet-shaped ice cubes and can generate up to 25 kg of ice in 24 hours, with approximately 10 cubes per cycle.

3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging.

3.2 Placement
- Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface, away from direct sunlight and heat sources (e.g., stoves, furnaces, radiators).
- Ensure there is at least 15 cm (6 inches) of clear space around the unit for proper ventilation.
- Do not block any ventilation openings on the appliance.
- Ensure the unit is placed in a well-ventilated area with an ambient temperature between 10°C and 32°C (50°F and 90°F).
3.3 Initial Cleaning
Before first use, clean the ice maker thoroughly.
- Wash the ice basket and ice scoop in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Clean the interior of the unit with a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse the interior with clean water and drain through the drain plug.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
- Allow the unit to air dry completely before plugging it in.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Filling the Water Reservoir
- Open the transparent lid.
- Remove the ice basket.
- Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
- Replace the ice basket and close the lid.
4.2 Starting Ice Production
- Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Press the "ON/OFF" button on the control panel to start the ice making cycle. The "Ice Making" indicator light will illuminate.
- The first batch of ice may take slightly longer to produce and may be smaller. Discard the first few batches of ice.
- The ice maker will automatically stop when the ice basket is full, and the "Ice Full" indicator light will illuminate.
- When the "Add Water" indicator light illuminates, the water reservoir is low. Add more water and press the "ON/OFF" button to resume operation.
4.3 Removing Ice
Use the provided ice scoop to remove ice from the basket. For best results, transfer ice to a freezer for storage as the ice maker is not designed to be a freezer.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and longevity of your ice maker.
5.1 Daily Cleaning
- Unplug the unit.
- Remove the ice basket and wash it.
- Drain any remaining water from the reservoir by removing the drain plug at the bottom of the unit.
- Wipe the interior with a soft, damp cloth.
- Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling.
5.2 Periodic Deep Cleaning
Every few weeks, or if you notice a change in ice quality, perform a deep clean:
- Unplug the ice maker and drain all water.
- Prepare a cleaning solution of water and white vinegar (1:1 ratio) or a commercial ice maker cleaning solution.
- Pour the solution into the water reservoir up to the MAX line.
- Plug in the unit and run a few ice-making cycles. Discard all ice produced during this process.
- Drain the cleaning solution completely.
- Rinse the reservoir thoroughly with clean water, running several cycles with fresh water and discarding the ice.
- Dry the interior and exterior completely.
5.3 Storage
If storing the ice maker for an extended period, ensure it is thoroughly cleaned and dried. Store in a cool, dry place.
