Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
2. Open the compartment cover.
3. Insert one AAA battery (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover.

2. Placement Options

• Desktop Use: Extend the integrated stand on the back of the timer to place it upright on a flat surface.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

The timer typically powers on automatically when a battery is inserted. Some models may feature an on/off switch on the back of the unit.

2. Mode Selection

Press the MODE button to switch between COUNT-UP and COUNTDOWN modes.

3. Setting Countdown Time

1. In COUNTDOWN mode, press the HOUR, MIN, or SEC buttons to set the desired time. Press and hold the buttons for faster adjustment.
2. Press START/STOP to begin the countdown.
3. To pause, press START/STOP again. To resume, press START/STOP again.
4. When the countdown reaches zero, an alarm will sound, and a flashing light will activate. Press START/STOP or CLEAR to stop the alarm.

4. Using Count-Up Timer (Stopwatch)

1. In COUNT-UP mode, ensure the display shows "00:00:00". If not, press CLEAR.
2. Press START/STOP to begin counting up.
3. To pause, press START/STOP again. To resume, press START/STOP again.
4. Press CLEAR to reset the timer to zero.

5. Clearing Time

Press the CLEAR button to reset the displayed time to zero in either mode.

6. Memory Function

The timer may retain the last set countdown time. To recall this time, press CLEAR to reset, then press START/STOP without setting a new time.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the timer with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
• Battery Replacement: Replace the AAA battery when the display dims or the timer functions erratically. Ensure correct polarity during installation.
