- Use a dedicated power outlet with proper grounding.
- Verify that the power cable is free from damage before plugging it in.
5.2 Gas Connection (for MIG welding with gas)
- Connect the gas hose from your shielding gas cylinder (CO2 or Argon/CO2 mix) to the gas inlet on the rear of the welder.
- Ensure all connections are tight to prevent gas leaks.
- Adjust the gas flow rate using the regulator on the gas cylinder.
5.3 Welding Accessory Connection
- MIG Torch: Connect the MIG torch to the designated connector on the front panel. Ensure the wire feed mechanism is correctly loaded with the appropriate welding wire.
- Ground Clamp: Connect the ground clamp cable to the negative (-) terminal and securely attach the clamp to the workpiece, ensuring good electrical contact.
- MMA Electrode Holder: For MMA welding, connect the electrode holder cable to the positive (+) terminal and the ground clamp to the negative (-) terminal.
- Lift TIG Torch: For Lift TIG welding, connect the TIG torch to the negative (-) terminal and the ground clamp to the positive (+) terminal.
6. Operating Instructions
The ANDELI MIG-270P PRO features an intuitive LCD interface for easy mode selection and parameter adjustment.
6.1 Power On and Mode Selection
- Turn on the main power switch located on the rear of the machine.
- The LCD screen will illuminate, displaying the main menu.
- Rotate the R-KNOB (right knob) to navigate through the available welding modes (MIG, MMA, LIFT TIG). Press the R-KNOB to select a mode.

Figure 6.1: Examples of the LCD screen interface for various welding modes, including DC MIG, Pulse MIG, Double Pulse MIG, Lift TIG, and MMA, demonstrating parameter display and adjustment options.
6.2 Parameter Adjustment
- Once a welding mode is selected, the screen will display relevant parameters such as welding current (A), voltage (V), wire feed speed, material type, and thickness.
- Use the L-KNOB (left knob) and R-KNOB to adjust these parameters. Rotate to change values and press to confirm or move to the next setting.
- The synergic function simplifies setup by automatically recommending parameters based on material and wire type. Fine-tune as needed.
7. Welding Modes
The MIG-270P PRO offers multiple welding processes to suit various applications and materials.

Figure 7.1: Visual representation of the welder's multifunctional capabilities, showing different welding processes in action, such as Gasless MIG, Spool Gun, Single/Double Pulse MIG, MMA, and LIFT TIG.
7.1 MIG Welding (CO2/MIX/FLUX)
- Gas MIG (CO2/MIX): Requires shielding gas (CO2 or Argon/CO2 mix) for clean welds on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Flux-Cored MIG (Gasless): Uses flux-cored wire that produces its own shielding gas, suitable for outdoor welding or when gas cylinders are inconvenient.
- Pulse MIG: Offers enhanced control over heat input, ideal for welding thinner materials and achieving better bead appearance, especially with aluminum. Includes Single Pulse and Double Pulse options.
7.2 Lift TIG Welding
- Provides precise control for welding thin materials and achieving high-quality, clean welds.
- Requires a TIG torch, tungsten electrode, and shielding gas (Argon).
- The 'Lift' start feature minimizes tungsten contamination.
7.3 MMA (Stick) Welding
- Suitable for welding thicker materials and in outdoor or windy conditions.
- Uses coated electrodes that provide their own shielding.
- The machine supports various electrode types (e.g., E6013, E7018).

8. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable performance of your welder.
- Daily: Inspect cables, connections, and the torch for damage. Clean the nozzle and contact tip of the MIG torch.
- Weekly: Clean the wire feed rollers and guide tube. Check for proper wire tension.
- Monthly/Quarterly: Open the machine casing (only by qualified personnel) and use compressed air to blow out dust and debris from inside the welder, especially from cooling fins and circuit boards.
- Storage: Store the welder in a clean, dry environment, protected from dust and moisture.
9. Troubleshooting
Refer to this section for common issues and their potential solutions.
- No Power: Check power cable connection, main power switch, and circuit breaker.
- No Arc: Ensure ground clamp is securely attached, electrode/wire is making contact, and welding parameters are set correctly. Check for damaged cables or torch components.
- Poor Weld Quality: Adjust welding current/voltage, wire feed speed, or gas flow rate. Ensure proper electrode/wire size and material cleanliness.
- Overheat Protection Activated: The machine will automatically shut down if it overheats. Allow it to cool down in a well-ventilated area. Reduce duty cycle or welding current if this occurs frequently.
- Wire Feeding Issues: Check wire spool for tangles, ensure wire feed rollers are clean and tensioned correctly, and verify contact tip size matches wire diameter.
If problems persist, contact ANDELI customer support for assistance.
