3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Unfolding the Nursery Center
- Remove the nursery center from its carry bag.
- Stand the folded unit upright.
- Separate the four corner posts slightly.
- Push down on the center of the base until it locks into place.
- Ensure all four side rails are locked securely. If a side rail does not lock, pull the red rope upward to make it upright, then try locking the side again.

3.2 Installing the Bassinet Level
For newborns and infants, the bassinet level provides a higher sleeping surface.
- Place the bassinet fabric insert into the main frame, securing it with the clips or zippers provided on each side.
- Insert the support bars into the designated sleeves under the bassinet fabric.
- Place the mattress pad on top of the bassinet fabric.

4.1 Using as a Bedside Sleeper
The nursery center can be positioned next to your bed for easy access to your baby. Ensure the side closest to your bed is lowered and secured according to the product's specific mechanism (if applicable) and that the unit is securely fastened to your bed if straps are provided.

4.2 Using as a Playpen
Once your child outgrows the bassinet level (typically around 18 lbs or when they can push up on hands and knees), remove the bassinet insert and use the main playard area. The playpen features a zippered game entrance for older babies to crawl in and out.

4.3 Mobility and Portability

6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Side Rails Not Locking
If a long or short side rail refuses to lock during setup:
- Ensure the center of the playard base is not pushed down yet. The side rails must lock before the base is fully lowered.
- Pull the red rope located in the center of the playard base upwards to make the unit upright.
- Firmly pull up on the center of the side rail until it clicks into place. Repeat for all sides.
- Once all side rails are locked, push the center of the playard base down until it is flat and secure.
