5. Setup

1. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the water tank, drinking tray, and external pump thoroughly with mild soap and water. Rinse all components completely to remove any soap residue. Do not wash the main unit with electrical components.
2. Install Filter: Place the ultra-filtration filter cartridge into its designated slot in the drinking tray. Ensure the sponge filter is also correctly positioned.
3. Assemble Fountain: Place the external water pump into the water tank. Position the drinking tray onto the water tank, ensuring it aligns correctly with the pump. Then, attach the main unit to the drinking tray.
4. Fill Water Tank: Fill the water tank with clean drinking water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill. The fountain has a 3.5L (118oz) capacity.
