Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera.
2. Insert a 1050mAh Lithium Polymer battery, ensuring correct polarity.
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
4. Charge the battery using the provided USB charger before first use.

2. Memory Card Installation

1. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the camera.
2. Insert a Micro SD card (Class 10 or higher, up to 64GB recommended) until it clicks into place.
3. To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.

3. Waterproof Case Usage

1. Place the camera inside the waterproof case.
2. Ensure the case is properly sealed and latched before submerging in water. The case protects the camera up to 131 feet (40 meters).
3. Test the waterproof case without the camera first to ensure no leaks.

4. Remote Control Pairing

1. Power on the camera.
2. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the camera until the Wi-Fi indicator light flashes.
3. On the remote control, press the video or photo button to pair. The camera's Wi-Fi indicator will stop flashing once paired.
4. The remote control is not waterproof.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

• To power on, press and hold the Power/Mode button.
• To power off, press and hold the Power/Mode button again.

2. Mode Switching

• Press the Power/Mode button repeatedly to cycle through video, photo, and playback modes.

3. Video Recording

• In video mode, press the Shutter/OK button to start recording.
• Press the Shutter/OK button again to stop recording.

4. Photo Capture

• In photo mode, press the Shutter/OK button to take a photo.

5. Adjusting View Angle

• Navigate to the settings menu.
• Select 'Field of View' or 'Angle' and choose between 170°, 140°, 110°, or 70°.

6. Image Stabilization (EIS)

• Access the settings menu.
• Find the 'Image Stabilization' or 'EIS' option and toggle it On or Off.

7. Wi-Fi Connectivity

• Press the Wi-Fi button on the camera to activate Wi-Fi.
• Download the AKASO GO app on your smartphone or tablet.
• Connect to the camera's Wi-Fi network (SSID and password displayed on camera screen).
• Use the app to control the camera, preview footage, and transfer files.

8. HDMI Output

• Connect the camera to an HDMI-compatible display using an HDMI cable (not included).
• The camera display will switch to the external screen.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camera lens and screen. For the waterproof case, rinse with fresh water after saltwater use and allow to air dry.
• Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not expose to extreme temperatures. Fully charge batteries before extended storage.
• Storage: Store the camera and accessories in a dry, dust-free environment. Remove batteries if storing for long periods.

Troubleshooting

• Camera not turning on: Ensure batteries are charged and correctly inserted.
• Recording issues: Check if the Micro SD card is inserted, formatted, and has sufficient storage space. Ensure the card is Class 10 or higher.
• Wi-Fi connection problems: Verify the AKASO GO app is installed and updated. Ensure the camera's Wi-Fi is enabled and you are within range.
• Poor image/video quality: Check lens for smudges or dirt. Ensure settings like resolution and frame rate are appropriate for your needs.
