Setup
- Prepare the Glasses: Before first use, gently peel off any protective films from the lenses.
- Connect the Cable: Ensure the detachable USB-C cable is securely inserted into the glasses.
- Connect to Device:
- For devices with USB-C (DisplayPort compatible, e.g., most Android phones, iPhone 15/16 series, MacBooks, some Windows laptops): Connect the USB-C cable directly to your device.
- For devices with HDMI output (e.g., Nintendo Switch, PS4/PS5, Xbox, some Windows laptops): Use the included Rokid HDMI adapter. Connect the HDMI cable from your device to the adapter, then connect the USB-C cable from the glasses to the adapter.
- Wear the Glasses: Place the glasses on your face. Adjust the nose pads for a comfortable fit.
- Adjust Clarity: If the image appears blurry, use the diopter adjustment knobs on the top of the glasses to achieve clear focus. Rotate them until the image is sharp.
- Optional Blackout Cover: For a fully immersive experience, attach the blackout cover to block external light. Note: When using the blackout cover, ensure you are in a safe environment as your real surroundings will be completely shielded.

Operating Instructions
The Rokid Max AR Glasses support two primary modes of operation: Screen Mirroring and AR Mode.
Screen Mirroring Mode
In this mode, your device's screen is mirrored directly into the glasses, providing a large virtual display for watching videos, browsing, or playing games.
- Connect your device as described in the Setup section.
- The content from your connected device will automatically appear on the virtual screen within the glasses.
- Use the brightness buttons on the right temple to adjust the display intensity.
- Use the volume buttons on the right temple to control the audio output from the directional speakers.

AR Mode (Augmented Reality)
For interactive augmented reality experiences, you will need to install the Rokid AR application on a compatible Android device.
- Check Compatibility: Before using AR Mode, confirm that your Android device model supports it. A list of compatible devices can often be found on the Rokid official website or within the Rokid AR application.
- Download the App: Search for "Rokid AR" on Google Play Store or scan the QR code provided in the product packaging/manual to download the application.
- Install and Launch: Install the app and open it.
- Connect and Log In: Connect your phone to the glasses. Follow the on-screen prompts to register your account, accept terms and conditions, and log in. You may need to enter a verification code sent to your email.
- Grant Permissions: Allow Rokid Max to access necessary USB device permissions for wired projection.
- Enter AR Space: Once successfully connected and logged in, you can enter exclusive 3D spaces and interactive AR experiences through the application.

Maintenance
