Setup
Initial Winding
Your OLEVS automatic watch is powered by the movement of your wrist. For initial setup or after the watch has stopped, it needs to be manually wound to build up a power reserve.
- Gently pull out the crown to the first position.
- Rotate the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times.
- Push the crown back in.
The watch will then continue to wind itself with regular wear.
Setting the Time
To set the time:
- Pull the crown out to the outermost position (usually the second click).
- Rotate the crown to move the hands clockwise until the correct time is displayed.
- Push the crown back in to secure the setting.
Adjusting the Date, Day, and Year/Month
The watch features subdials for day, date, and a window for year/month. Refer to the diagrams below for knob and button locations.

- Date Adjustment (Right Side Knob): Pull the crown out to the first position and rotate it to change the date.
- Year/Month Adjustment (Left Side Button 1): Use a small tool (like the provided pin) to gently press the upper concealed button on the left side to advance the year.
- Week Adjustment (Left Side Button 2): Use a small tool to gently press the lower concealed button on the left side to advance the day of the week.
Band Adjustment
The watch comes with a strap adjustment tool to help you resize the band for a comfortable fit. For detailed instructions on adding or removing links, please refer to the included separate band adjustment guide or contact customer support if you require assistance.
Operating Your Watch
Automatic Movement
The OLEVS automatic watch is powered by the natural motion of your arm. When worn regularly, the rotor inside the watch winds the mainspring, providing continuous power.
If the watch is not worn for an extended period, it may stop. Simply wind it manually as described in the "Initial Winding" section, or wear it for several hours to restart the movement.
Luminous Display
The watch features luminous hands and markers for visibility in low-light conditions.
To activate the luminescence, expose the watch to a strong light source (natural sunlight or artificial light) for approximately 15 minutes. The stored light energy will then allow the hands and markers to glow.

This image shows the OLEVS watch in a dark setting, with its hands and hour markers glowing brightly due to the luminous coating, demonstrating its visibility in low light.
Maintenance and Care
Water Resistance
Your OLEVS watch is 30M (100 ft) water resistant. This means it can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water.
Important: This watch is NOT suitable for diving, swimming, or hot baths/showers. Exposure to hot water or steam can damage the seals and compromise water resistance.

This image shows the OLEVS watch with water splashing around it, illustrating its 30-meter water resistance feature.

This image depicts the OLEVS watch partially submerged in water, emphasizing its water-resistant capabilities for daily use.
Cleaning
To maintain the appearance of your watch:
- Wipe the case and strap regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- For stainless steel bands, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.
Storage
When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields. The original gift box is ideal for storage.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Watch stops or runs inaccurately | Insufficient power reserve | Manually wind the watch (30-40 turns of the crown) or wear it consistently for several hours. |
| Date/Day/Year not changing correctly | Incorrect setting or setting during restricted hours (e.g., 9 PM - 3 AM) | Adjust the time to avoid the restricted period, then set the date/day/year. |
| Condensation inside the watch | Exposure to extreme temperature changes or compromised water resistance | Immediately take the watch to a qualified watchmaker for inspection and repair. Do not attempt to open it yourself. |
| Band is too tight/loose | Incorrect band size | Use the provided tool to adjust links, or seek professional assistance. |
